Welcome to Accapella! When Joey and Gina arrive in the musically starved town that outlawed groovy tunes, a chance encounter with the music hating tyrannical ruler of the town (and local butcher) sends them flying.

Core mechanic involving charging your powers ends up being annoying in under an hour, you find yourself constantly running out of energy while you have to kill opponents, protect stupid vikings or prevent polar bear from eating itself to death. Rather poor animations and somewhat sluggish movement would have been ok if the core mechanic wouldn't have been as irritating. With all these the game is not worth your time.
Gameplay is boring and slow. Controls are horrible. Animations and graphics are bad. My rating 1/10. stay away from this one.
This game looks promising on the steam page. You can tell that the visuals do truly look nice. It just looks like a great game until you play it. Once you start playing it: You'll realise It's oof. The gameplay itself is slow.. It felt so sluggish. For a rhytm based game: The music is boring. The music and sound effects aren't enjoyable. I mean, they are fine, but not that interesting. Especially not within rhytm based platformer. The story within the game is also quite awful. It could work for a 3 year old. Otherwise nah. The game felt like 'old-school browser' game. Which itself isn't a bad thing, but It's not free. In fact: The default price is currently at 8,99€ And that's way too much for such slow game. There is not much featured, in terms of value. Really felt like one of the old free flash things. Steam offers so many better / cheaper games. There's even a bunch of better games for free. So paying the 8,99€ for this would be a waste. I honestly don't recommend buying this game.

Especially with the solid Xbox 360 support. People praised the music but I found that even though it was good, it kept relooping from the start every time you activated an ability which I found detracted from it quite a lot. Monster Spam and Ability Spam Gameplay: The problem with this game is that it really is just a collection of mini-game/stages where a bunch of 2D sprites for foes are being spammed at you, and you have to quickly twitch react and use your shield, your speed boots and your blaster to either shoot them, protect stuff or move faster. Your default speed is very slow and the gameplay is basically just putting out fires until the game is done spamming you. Then collecting stars based on your performance. Bad Pacing: So not only is the nature of the game a bit repetitive and tedious, but to make matters worse you quickly run out of energy to use all three of your abilities. You need to stop moving altogether, hold a button, and then start tapping your ability keys in rhythm with a metronome to slowly recharge them while the game is still spamming at you. The end result is a very tight micromanagement of energy levels and an inability to rely on the speed boots to compensate for your walking speed as a convenience feature, and even on normal difficult you will have to pause in the middle of the action to recharge your blaster or your shield. Conclusion: Do not purchase this, if you have purchased it I would recommend playing on easy mode to keep frustration to a minimum. Even then once you look past the cuteness factor this is a rather uninspired game mechanically and you might be doing yourself a favor by just never playing it regardless.
OST. Originality BeatBlaster III is that all tasks have to be solved with the help of music. No, it's not AudioSurf or Beat Hazard, and the usual arcade. The only difference is that challenges you, the developers provide only one weapon to solve it - music. And how effectively you will use them, depends on how well you have a strong sense of rhythm. For originality and quality of implementation BeatBlaster III must visit your PC. The only pity is that the developers have not released on Steam separate OST.
