About

Beasts of Bermuda is a multiplayer survival game in which the player is a dinosaur or other prehistoric creature. A player can take the role of flyers, swimmers, herbivores, carnivores, and semi-aquatic creatures that fulfill different niches in the ecosystem. No matter what the player chooses to be, the objective of the game is to survive and grow up on the islands of Bermuda by using their particular creature's abilities. Predation from other players as well as intense environmental events are the antagonistic forces in the game the player must survive against.
There are currently three game modes in Beasts of Bermuda.

In Free Roam game mode the player selects a creature of choice and spawns into the world as a juvenile of that species. They must survive and gradually grow larger over time. As growth accumulates, they also earn talents, which can be spent to enhance different aspects of your creature's capabilities. In this mode growth is slower but resource management is easier.
In Life Cycle game mode the player selects a creature and spawns into the world as a juvenile of that species. You must survive and grow larger in a fast paced growth setting. As growth accumulates, you will earn talents to enhance different aspects of your creature's capabilities. After 1.32 growth you can choose to enter a stage called Gauntlet, where the difficulty of the game increases with growth in the form of food, water, and ailment management. In this mode growth is faster but resource management is harder. Compete on a monthly leaderboard to earn the top growth ranking for your species!
In Combat game mode players are pitted against one another with mechanics that are designed to reward conflict. Servers can use Deathmatch Maps which are smaller with close together spawn locations. The player spawns in as an adult creature of their choice and can accrue more talent points by killing other players and stealing their points. The game mode is endless and uses points and kill/death ratios to show who reigns supreme on the server.

Edit: I am no longer recommending this game due to the devs promising to announce what happened and what they are doing to prevent such issues, only to pretend the issue did not happen. Anyone asking in the discord when they will send out the announcement is either banned or ignored. My entire friend group has uninstalled the game and I have shut off our server because I am not going to support devs who do not address elephants in the room. Game is fun, you grow big and hunt for shiny skins. The community is deeply parasocial about the lead devs and will look for any excuse to rake them across the coals for any slight they have. They dig up extremely old comments in the discord and spread misinformation until they are properly banned/punished. Edit, 1 month later: The game is still fun to play, the community is still parasocial to the devs. A rogue discord "voted for the community" and has leaked the entire code. As a result, official discord had no moderation for over 24hrs. Said rogue discord has also voted on who to send d3ath thr3ats and harassing/defaming comments to during this. It has gotten so bad another dino survival game owner has had to step in to offer assistance to BoB Devs and to ban foul players from leaking their toxicity into their game. They (the players) did not like being held accountable for their behavior and actions and will lash out either here in reviews or in other games. I am only providing a [No Recommend] due to both the source and engine code available to the public and do not want players to be at risk of hackers.

Fun game, I don't even really like dinosaurs but the pvp in game can be thrilling
great game alot of players and huting tecniques just does not get boring
10x more fun & replayability than the isle but also.. 10x more desync than the isle the skill cieling in this game is immense, i've seen good players turn some of the least suspecting dinos into absolute killing machines, it all comes down to your build and your bloodline... all the people compaining about balance are likely sub-adult stage default creations trying to fight monsters that have been bred for combat.
itts fun to play
GUD
I have experienced none of the issues in other reviews, and growing takes multiple hours. However, overall one of the best Dinosaur Survival Games I've played.
worst game ever. I love it
