Grow a dinosaur from hatchling to full-grown adult, then take it anywhere — solo or into 150-player servers, with everything you've earned carried over. 67+ playable species, from land to sea to sky.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Jul 24 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Primeval: A Persistent Prehistoric Sandbox
Play as one of 67+ dinosaur and prehistoric species — from hatchling to apex predator — solo, or on servers holding up to 150 players, with progress that carries over between both.
One World, Two Ways to Play
Grow a hatchling to adulthood safely in single-player, then bring that same creature onto a 150-player server to hunt, defend territory, and build a legacy. Retreat back to single-player any time for a session with zero lag and zero raids. Growth, talents, and stats carry over either way.
A Full Life Cycle
Start as a vulnerable hatchling and grow into an apex predator, earning evolution points to unlock talents and traits that shape how your creature plays. Build nests, gather resources to strengthen your brood, and hatch the next generation.
Coordinated Pack and Herd AI
Herbivores form defensive herds. Predators hunt in coordinated packs. It's not a world of animals wandering in circles — creatures work together, the way they would have.
67+ Playable Species
More species than any other dinosaur survival game, spanning land, sea, and sky:
Apex Carnivores: Giganotosaurus, Spinosaurus, Allosaurus
Heavyweight Herbivores: Argentinosaurus, Triceratops, Ankylosaurus
Marine & Aerial Terrors: Megalodon, Tylosaurus, Quetzalcoatlus
Unique Prehistoric Wonders: Anomalocaris, Titanoboa, Dunkleosteus

Used to be decent but then the main dev replaced all of the genuinely decent art and everything with AI art. Very low quality and just uses public assets. Nothing original besides the key art and now even that is replaced by AI art. Go play Path of Titans or The Isle instead.
This game is still in a rough state but the Dinosaurs look great, we had quite some fun, it has a very active dev. Recommended!
In short, used to be pretty fun early on, but the dinosaur ai is pretty stupid, and now every update thumbnail is made by ai, wich I don't support.

Pros - Beautiful game. Ai is fun to interact with, i love just growing in single player, killing ai. -never bored! Cons - sound effects are work in progress, frame rate issues on multiplayer server, lack of server activity ITS FUN! A nice alternative to the isle and beasts of bermuda in my opinion.
game is good, I hope it has graphical improvements and path with improvements in animal vocalizations
This game is much better than other dinosaur games that I've played. Great graphics, plenty of dino's to choose from, the growth system + evolution system is amazing! So many AI around to hunt / fight / kill. Plus the Developer updates all the time and will listen to the community on idea's! It's well worth the purchase!
English: I have to admit that this game does not measure up to others, FOR NOW. This game has potential.IMMENSE (Aquatic, Terrestrial, Semi-aquatic, Aerial), and the models are quite good (not all of them). There is a spectator mode where you can watch the AI interact with each other. I think it’s a game that people underestimate and should give a chance.
There is something suspicious about this game. First time running it a small black window popped up and disappeared and after that there has been all sorts of strange issues with my computer when running this game. Audio cancels out, discord crashes, steam page keeps opening and closing over and over. The game constantly freezes and crashes. Do not even waste your time with this.
