About

Beasts of Bermuda is a multiplayer survival game in which the player is a dinosaur or other prehistoric creature. A player can take the role of flyers, swimmers, herbivores, carnivores, and semi-aquatic creatures that fulfill different niches in the ecosystem. No matter what the player chooses to be, the objective of the game is to survive and grow up on the islands of Bermuda by using their particular creature's abilities. Predation from other players as well as intense environmental events are the antagonistic forces in the game the player must survive against.
There are currently three game modes in Beasts of Bermuda.

In Free Roam game mode the player selects a creature of choice and spawns into the world as a juvenile of that species. They must survive and gradually grow larger over time. As growth accumulates, they also earn talents, which can be spent to enhance different aspects of your creature's capabilities. In this mode growth is slower but resource management is easier.
In Life Cycle game mode the player selects a creature and spawns into the world as a juvenile of that species. You must survive and grow larger in a fast paced growth setting. As growth accumulates, you will earn talents to enhance different aspects of your creature's capabilities. After 1.32 growth you can choose to enter a stage called Gauntlet, where the difficulty of the game increases with growth in the form of food, water, and ailment management. In this mode growth is faster but resource management is harder. Compete on a monthly leaderboard to earn the top growth ranking for your species!
In Combat game mode players are pitted against one another with mechanics that are designed to reward conflict. Servers can use Deathmatch Maps which are smaller with close together spawn locations. The player spawns in as an adult creature of their choice and can accrue more talent points by killing other players and stealing their points. The game mode is endless and uses points and kill/death ratios to show who reigns supreme on the server.

This game, which costs the same as a McDonald's meal, is not worth buying. Unfortunately, it's more of an addictive game based on the growth rate of a creature. The game has been in development for over seven years now, and nothing has really changed. The community can't wait that long for a game that ends up unoptimized, with bugs and hackers everywhere, and a team that doesn't listen and even censors players who want to express themselves. The developers are also very disappointing, especially the creator of this game, who doesn't pay the people who work on it, and who end up leaving the team with several thousand dollars in unpaid wages. You can feel this in the gameplay, especially in the sometimes sloppy models and animations, and creatures that are sidelined due to the new lack of staff. There are also many other issues, but there's no point in adding them here. Suffice it to say that if I hadn't made friends through this game, I would have uninstalled it years ago. For all new players reading the reviews, I recommend having a computer more powerful than NASA's so you can play without any problems... and having a good place to pray that you don't run into all the local hackers or encounter bugs or desync, which have been a huge problem for years. Have fun!

Incompetent developers who further tear this game apart with lack of professionalism. There is no war in BoB Sing Se even if valid criticisms are brought up within the Discord. Unfortunate failure of a once promising title.
Horrible Game, devs work with Pedophiles, DO NOT BUY IT OR SUPPORT THE DEVS.
What a true waste of great potential. Great weather system, great talent trees. Sadly the gameplay is absolute trash and rubbish, there is no redeeming it at all. Their own rules prevent players from effectively defending themselves against active rulebreakers with nothing you do resulting in a punishment of said rulebreakers. The best they can do is revive your lost dino where it will just get killed again anyway by the same or a new problematic player or group. Video recording as proof with chat logs an screenshots do not help you much on official servers, so why bother playing it at all. They need to completely revamp the combat. It is not set up to be new player friendly or intuitive at all. Problematic and toxic players are not dealt with effectively in any meaningful way, there is rampant hacking and cheating on official servers as well unfortunately. They are also fine with having mods that openly admit to being trolls so do not expect an impartial or fair ticket or moderation experience, what a travesty. Expect to get muted on their official discord if you raise any kinds of concerns regarding problematic mods or admins.
I have played this game for years my hours should tell you how much I've invested into this game, the same problems i experienced in 2020-2022 are the same problems of today. The devs can fix these problems but instead have chosen to prioritize the gatekeeping of rare skins that we hardly see over the health of their game, with how fast they 'fixed' this problem it shows that they are capable of much more but choose to let this game rot. It saddens me a lot to say that i will be playing the game less or not at all but at this point my favorite creature has been turned into a joke and the bugs are likely never going to be fixed. This game is also poorly optimized i have several friends that are unable to play from the login bug or their rig cannot handle it. You are better off playing any other game and maybe one day this game will get better but that is not anytime soon.
Terrible things have happened in this game recently, and the devs are genuinely horrible people. Please educate yourself on what you're getting into before you even think of buying this
Enjoyable relaxed experience, more fun and freedom than other dinosaur simulator games. BUT BE WARNED the game has appalling balancing where as an adult T.rex or Acro you can die to a juvie Ptera if they hit you enough as they're untouchable by anything big. Plus the community doesn't care for the rules and you will be spawn killed, targeted for hours by certain people, killed by mix/megapacks and most frustratingly lose every fight to tail riding.
Dev pushed a build to live recently without testing that made it so if you hovered over any saved skins, you would automatically select it and apply it to your dinosaur, sounds good? until you realize people were losing exclusive nested skins you couldnt legitimately get, to fix people having access to exclusive skins they dont own legitimately. there was backlash Devs response? Saying "i dont know why you would look at that screen when you dont want to swap skins!" they had a preview feature in that menu until that patch dropped. people dug up the eugenics comments calling autistic people abominations. Theres rumors Predatoria is going to sue a former dev for damages even though they didnt break nda, and has banned them from the official discord, this is after purposefully misgendering them. The game has a massive hacking problem where you can be 1 shot by a baby dinosaur, but devs will just say "we'll keep an eye on them" when you make a ticket. but dont worry, dev went on vacation to peru. A potentially great game ruined by a dirty dev. *update* So every server has been hit by a hacker named skeler due to the devs leaving a backdoor into private servers, that give them full reign to access server files and even wipe backups, pretty sure this violates 18 U.S. Code § 1030 since you cannot without permission access other people's computers/servers.
garbage game that has to consistency to mechanics just swing and hope you hit something while all the hackers have 100% accuracy
This game doesn’t just ship with bugs, it is a bug delivery system that occasionally interrupts itself with gameplay. What truly elevates this mess from broken to embarrassing, however, is the developer’s behavior. Rather than acknowledge the avalanche of legitimate complaints, they’ve taken to social media to throw tantrums, blame players for pointing out the obvious, and declare any criticism to be a personal attack. Watching a grown developer melt down because people expect a functional product would be funny if it weren’t attached to a price tag. A buggy game can be fixed. A developer who treats their audience like enemies is a much harder patch. Save your money, save your time, and spare yourself the spectacle of paying to be scolded for expecting software to work. Sucks, but thats my answer.
