Beast Mode: Night of the Werewolf Silver Bullet Edition

I made the game, so I'm obviously biased, but Steam asked me to write a review so this is it :P I'm really proud of the remaster. It's finally the game that I wanted Beast Mode to be. If you're hesitant to pick it up, just consider that even if you're able to clear all the levels in a few hours, trying to top the online leaderboards is a legitimately difficult challenge. Especially when (ttv)Thaelo figured out how to break 1 million points on several levels!

It's silly, simple fun really. Plus you get to be a werewolf and that's cool in my books.

This game is a simple and short, but also fun game to start every now and then to hunt hippies and high scores. I really enjoyed it. It reminds me a bit of old PS1 classics such as THPS2 where you didn't had long loading times and a quick and snappy main menu so you can just jump straight into the game. sort of interesting but the action is very shallow and to progress anywhere despite beating a stage you will need to beat it like 10 times to unlock the next one. no thank you. this idea expanded and improved could be something but its a very basic idea as it stands and executed not all that well. to kill the hippies you just have to run near by them and sometimes running directly through them doesn't even get them so a half worthless left or right attack is sometimes required. has a weird level of polish in the presentation and menus along with the leaderboard system to suggest maybe i'm missing something but I don't believe I am.

Jeśli nie macie zbytnio w co zagrać; to z pomocą przychodzi idealny zapychacz czasu. Kilka pomniejszych, ale zróżnicowanych poziomów, gdzie staramy się wbić jak najlepszy wynik. Generalnie poziomy trzeba przechodzić kilka razy, żeby odblokować kolejny: im większy wynik, tym mniej rozgrywek potrzebujecie, żeby odblokować poziom. System wbijania combo jest trochę źle rozłożony w czasie i mimo, że wskaźnik dopiero co podskoczył to może od razu opaść. Dynamiczny i przyjemny gameplay, który potrafi wciągnąć oraz bardzo dobry design wilkołaka, który wygląda lepiej niż w produkcjach wysokobudżetowych i mówię to w pełni poważnie. Moja ocena to 6.5/10. Polecam na przecenie.

Surprisingly fun game. Amazing music and the levels are made to make you slowly get better and better so it's very satisfying to finally get the score to move on. I think some improvements could be made on the combat, adding more options than a single attack. One other thing would be maybe more clarity on where the hippies are, as by the second level its easy to miss them and move onto a different area. Overall very cathartic and fun casual game and would recommend.

This ♥♥♥♥ is mad goofy but idec for 99 cents it's fun when you don't wanna think about much and just kill people as a 80's looking wolf. Plays quick I can tell it'll be over after an hour so gonna save the last few levels for now ;)
