Beach Invasion 1944

Overall pretty fun game. The trailer pretty much shows all the gameplay: You fight a wave, get rewarded with points to repair your turrets, place mines etc and start the next wave. The total kill requirement caps at 100, but enemies slowly get more hitpoints. I would've loved if unmanned guns were still being operated by NPCs because I found myself pretty much locked to the Flak to defend against planes, torpedo boats and tanks. Just the occasional shot or two would do wonders. What I really dislike are the playtime achievements. I finished all other achievements around the 9 hour mark, so there's nothing more to accomplish other than to play for another 40 hours.

It's perfectly normal to have recurring nightmares about this exact scenario, alright? (I saw Saving Private Ryan too young) This would be a great beach head type game except for the vomit comet swapping between points on the defenses. All the available armaments are enjoyable to use, and it's quite forgiving with the accuracy. The enemy AI doesn't know what it's there to do, except to take out a couple specific tools in your arsenal immediately while getting lost on the way to the rest. I think there's been enough time on this tragedy to find it darkly hilarious when a tin can full of confused teenagers swings open only to be immediately pulverized by a rope of screaming metal. Or when an armored truck full of optimistic heroes turns into a smoldering crater behind the smoke and thunder of your canon. Absurd how cheaply a life gets spent in war. Thanks for reading!

its a fun game. gets boring after a couple hours

I definitely don't recommend this at the full price, it gets very repetitive after like only 20 mins. if you can get it on sale though i would recommend you at least try it out as you can refund it anyways
