BDSM: Big Drunk Satanic Massacre

[h2]tl;dr[/h2] absurdly edgy and minimalistic twin-stick shooter [h2]Overview[/h2] You play as Lou(cifer), who is theoretically woven into a story framework about an uprising in hell. Other than that, BDSM is a straightforward twin-stick shooter with lots of gory shooting and killing, split into 4 chapters with a couple of side quests. [h2]The Good Stuff[/h2] The game starts with a rather long disclaimer about it being a work of satire not to be taken seriously. That is indeed very good, as I would have taken it immensely serious otherwise. Other than that, you may get the occasional chuckle if you have a monkey brain and you like trashy, campy B-movies. The whole design is pretty much a meme, and blursed Peter Griffin is amongst the enemies. So ... there's that as well. Oh, yeah, and gore, ofc. And it is short. Yeah. [h2]The Sorta-Kinda-Grinds-My-Gears-Stuff[/h2] It is way too try-hard edgy and didn't quite hit the landing at all. Maybe I am just getting too old for this. Furthermore, the game is absurdly repetitive, bland, and mundane. I like a core that is minimalistic, but this would be an example of how not to do it. You unlock doors by headbutting the middle boob of specific statues (yeeep) and you shoot. Occasionally there is a boss fight. That's it. The boss fights are more annoying than meaningful. The side quests are also mainly just more of the same with some cheesy dialogue and "story" fragments. Despite being a short experience, it felt like a drag. Certainly not the worst of all time, but pretty f'n far from mediocre. Also, it is labeled as Steam Deck verified, which I cannot confirm entirely. The game is playable, yes, but I could not enter or change options adequately, and some features, like the map, seem to straight up not work on Deck. Could be just a bug; I couldn't be bothered to delve into the issue. I just finished it on PC. [h2]The Atrociously-Bad Stuff[/h2] Just ... the game itself, I suppose. [h2]Achievement-Hunter-Things[/h2] Easy and mostly self-explanatory, which is a plus. Nothing difficulty-related, so everything can be done on the easiest setting. It can be completed in a singular run if you follow the community guide. If you were to miss something, you would have to start anew. [h2]Conclusion[/h2] I wonder who unironically takes a genuine liking to this game. It is mainly a meme and probably mostly regarded as that. If you really love every piece of media that is rather obscure, you may also like BDSM. Other than that, this is probably for people who fancy an easy completion for the stats. One way or another, no chance in hell is this worth the full price, so think about it during a sale.

Short but Sweet. Game is a super-light "RPG" with pretty linear levels and asimple upgrade system. Gameplay and story are fun, and you have the option of it being lewd or not. Only about 5 hours of gameplay, so would probably only recommend on a decent sale (it's been as low as $1.99, but any less than $5 is worth it). The only BDSM I'd recommend.

Все таки считаю что игра недостаточно оскорбляет мои чувства верующих, можно было и побольше. Не удивляюсь если с покупкой этой игры я финансирую ВСУ и на Россию мне лучше не появляться. В игре есть Гитлер, ветераны осторожнее пожалуйста. Играть лучше на легкой сложности, так же почитайте гайд чтобы получить все достижения за раз, МНЕ ПРИШЛОСЬ проходить три раза, не советую. Проходил на STEAM DECK, он у меня есть, да.
