Es una lastima que ahora con una pc mejor, por algun motivo no me deja jugarlo de nuevo, pero fue uno de los juegos de mi infancia y uno de los mejores de estrategia que jugue en la vida :,v
A fun little game reminiscent of Jurassic Primitive War and Warcraft 2, not high budget but enjoyable in between more serious strategies. Super cheap too, definitely worth it!
Yes.
While the stone age is an area generally overlooked by games, BC Kings is less Dawn of Man and more of a bad Age of Empires. The age of the RTS is over, and BC Kings reminds me of why it passed so ignominiously. Weird graphics, bad sound effects, poor balancing, and uninspired unit design means we should leave BC Kings in the dustbin of history.
For people who played it before it will serve as a nice nostalgia kick, for those who didnt its a fun old RTS to give a try, the campaign is enjoyable, although multioplayer is probably dead do to how old the game is, havent tried it though.
Ugly buggy mess that's not worth fighting with.
Well. It´s a C&C, Warcraft like Strategy. On the first appeal the stone age setting sounds appealing. But it lacks qualiy and charme on every pixel or polygon. Could have been so much more. And there is lot of Competition out there. Four 4 bucks it´s fine but there are so many C&C, Tempest Rising, 8-bit Armies/Hordes etc. and even Warwinds out there you definietely should pick first.
I know it has it's short comings but I didn't grow up with this game and I still found it charming as hell. Love the art direction and atmosphere and it took me back to the late 90's/early 2000's rts times. For me it's good ♥♥♥♥ and if you like old school RTS's you should give it a chance, especially for the low ass price.
I grew up playing this game, used to wake up at 5 in the morning so i could play BC Kings for couple of hours before school. It might be nostalgia but i really vibe with this game. Also the music slaps.
The human worker unit is a woman. Feeling offended? No worries, you can research *emancipation* so they can attack. Truly a marvel of social sciences. Also, aliens.
