Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Aug 19 → 5.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It feels like someone took the tactical tension of classic turn-based strategy, mixed it with the management layer of mercenary simulators, and wrapped it all in the heavy, methodical combat of giant war machines. BattleTech doesn’t try to be fast or flashy—it leans fully into deliberate, calculated gameplay where every move can cost you real time, money, or even a veteran pilot. I’m not usually a fan of slower, more methodical games, but Battletech makes it work. The combat is all about positioning, heat control, and target prioritization, and when it clicks, it’s incredibly satisfying. Every mech feels like a walking puzzle—you’re constantly tweaking loadouts, balancing armor vs firepower, and adapting to contracts that don’t always go as planned. The campaign adds a solid strategic layer on top. Managing your crew, finances, and repairs between missions gives weight to every decision. Losing a mech isn’t just a setback—it’s a problem you actually have to solve. That said, the pacing can drag at times, and mission variety isn’t always as strong as it could be. Pros: Deep and rewarding tactical combat Excellent mech customization system Meaningful management layer (finances, repairs, pilots) Strong sense of progression and consequences Cons: Repetitive mission structure over time Slow pacing may not appeal to everyone Limited variety in some encounters pejoluck's rating: 7.0 / 10

it's a pretty good game, but could use a more extensive skill system for pilots as well as a better tactical AI
MechCommander 3 PLS
A very tactical and engaging gameplay. The story is simple but engaging and the way it is presented I find it very appealing. I got addicted to the game loop very recently after having abandoned the game at first well because I sucked. But now that I got the hand of it, Its Really Good!!!
this game was great. lots of fun trying to simply replay maps to get the right kills on the right mecs so that the right weapons are salvageable. a game, within a game.
i need multiplayer its a fun game though
Its miniatures with all the effects and sounds you imagined in your head. What more could you want? Its awesome with some great mods out there too!
It's pretty great on its own. I would highly recommend the BTA 3062 mod.
Great Battletech game. Some of the missions are a bit too random, but the mech building and turn based combat are great.
