Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 29.29/day in the week to Jul 30 → 35/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 8: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

10/10 Must try. Nothing else to say.
Even though later entries do improve so much on what's present in this game, it still remains incredible here. The combat is smooth; it seems simple at a glance, and you *can* play through the game with just punching and countering, but that ignores just about everything else like quickfiring gadgets, takedowns, and all kinds of other moves you can learn. So, if anyone tells you the gameplay is just button mashing, know they didn't engage with the system beyond what was absolutely necessary. The stealth is also great and you have so many fun ways to approach stealth encounters. The game's structure and flow is supreme, reiterating on places you've already been and making them just a bit more interesting to return to, as well as letting you access new areas of already-explored regions with your new gadgets. It also has a wonderful and immersive atmosphere that balances gothic extravagance, medical sterility, and a healthy touch of horror very well. HOWEVER, there are negatives which I'll focus on since you've certainly heard the praises for this game sung time and time again. First, the post-game content is very lacking. You have Riddler trophies, which are actually pretty fun to collect and the game doesn't go overboard like in later titles, but nothing else, not even thugs to fight, which can make post-game quite uninteresting. There's technical issues, some minor like countering sometimes not working and some a bit bigger but avoidable like the game sometimes freezing on tabbing out (which seems to resolve itself after a couple minutes, but it freezes the whole screen so you can't even pull up task manager). There's also very little enemy variety, with just three normal enemy types (normal thug, thug with knives, thug with stun batons), a fourth enemy that appears half-way through the game scattered about the map but not in normal combat encounters (lunatics), and a fifth one that only appears in a few segments (Titan thugs). Most of the boss fights are fine, but there's a couple real stinkers, though balanced out by a couple really good ones. Overall, the issues with the game are minor and more than made up for with positives. If you're interested in this kind of game, I can say with little doubt that you'll enjoy it. Even if you've played later entries this one has enough different and unique that makes it worth playing.
holy banger no where near done either
The combat was very nice. As for the story, I’m not deep into Batman lore, so whenever I was doing collectibles, random characters kept showing up that meant zilch to me. If I was more tapped into the lore, it might’ve hit differently. The story and ending were super meh, kinda underwhelming to be real. But the overall gameplay was a blast. The fact that they mastered the combat mechanics in the very first game of the franchise is super good.
