Barony is a First Person Dungeon Crawler wherein Characters are temporary and expendable. You choose a class and race for a "run" and then start at level/floor one. You go through each floor killing mobs and looting to level up your character. Death is generally run ending, sending you back to the character creation screen. There are loads of secrets to explore, along with a variety of basic puzzles worth solving. Time is often not on your side, but the path to victory is worth beating the odds. Fun game. Bit of a learning curve. Only Eight hours in, I haven't solo beat a run yet, but I am working on a three player run right now. I do enjoy the Conjurer Class the most so far. Graphics are simple, but styled and enjoyable. FPS is good, I've have zero issues. In eight hours of playtime, i have had zero crashes, so the game appears stable. I would say this Game is worth the price, as I find myself looking forward to playing it on my days off, and enjoy it with friends as much as I do alone.
Very in depth but also challenging game with many things to do and different mechanics. There's also a lot of achievements but some achievements are locked behind dlcs so you can't 100% the game if you don't buy the dlcs

This is the best free roam DND game I have ever played, and is best played with friends. I wish this game was on gamepass and playstation gold with crossplay so I can get more friends to play it. The skill level in the game is gapped with experience, and every adventure starts at level 1. Friendly tip, turn off the random minotaur, he is very annoying especially when getting him on multiple levels in a row. Also he has his own secret level, so he should just stay there. You will still get achievements but you have to change these settings in the starting area. I started this game on keyboard and mice but the controller is the best menu control I have ever seen in a game. Very easy to quickly navigate inventory and menu, and quick select bar.
