Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 24.86/day in the week to Jul 31 → 18.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

One of my favourite co-op games! Tough but not impossible. Great, deep classes, and tons of variation in playstyles. Feels like distilled, arcade, DnD at times. Tinkering is dangerously addictive.

GULAG COMPRUSER!
Occasionally fun, Mostly frustrating. If you ever feel like you're having a good run, It's probably gonna be very short lived
After finishing the game twice (human barbarian and ninja) I would say it's 50/50. Definitely not worth it for full price, only for >70% sale). Although I only played singleplayer, co-op has the potential to be more fulfilling. My main complaint would be the lack of variety and depth. Complete the game twice and you have seen it all (I have unlocked 100% of World tab in the compendium). Perhaps playing DLC races could bring something new to the table. But the classes themselves bring little replayability, maybe only on first 5-10 floors. In the end game you can master and try pretty much all kinds of skills (melee, magic, alchemy, blocking, stealth, etc.). Classes do not have any special powers, just a different combination of starting items and skills/attributes. I will quickly elaborate on skill variety also. There are 5 kinds of melee weapons (axes, swords, polearms, maces, unarmed), but all of them function almost identically (no difference in attack rate or reach), except they can give some different status effect or break armor with relatively low chance. Some enemies are also less or more vulnerable to different weapons, but axes are just better overall from my experience (because of slimes and other more tough enemies like mimics). Melee as a mechanic is really simple, you attack, you block, repeat N+1, except you can charge an attack or use stealth for first strike. No combos, no parries. Ranged is not complex either, you can not change the shot height or shoot early (like Minecraft, which is more fun in this aspect, not a high bar here). Alchemy is just combining 2 potions into 1 and gambling (copy potion with water or not, depending on luck, sometimes just waste 10 potions in a row, skill issue? lol). Want to make effect stronger or last longer? Keep dreaming, lol! Potions are useful though: restoring health/mana, paralyzing/confusing enemies, levitating; other potions not so much, and there are not a lot of them anyway. Scrolls are actually fine. Tinkering is a meme (because none of base game classes can work around it), Stealth is just see enemy => crouch => wait around corner until you can hit them in the back. Magic has the most variety out of all skills, some spells give buffs or debuffs, some are offensive, some are utility (light, food, etc.), nothing to complain here in this regard. Overall, mechanics on their own are pretty shallow, you can understand them well very quickly. They do not interact with each other (can you throw water and zap enemy for extra damage? Nope.). Instead, the game difficulty is mostly from resource management. My main gripe with resource management is limited inventory and non-stacking same-but-not-really items (like potions, scrolls or food, based on their quality/blessings), why they have to take different slots and such? The game already has weight system, no? Look at Shattered Pixel Dungeon, where they have different inventories for different item types. But maybe is just part of the challenge, I dunno. At least food can be cooked in pots to take less space. Just tedious. Levels can get pretty boring fast too. You only move in 2 dimensions, the ceiling is either 1 or 2 blocks. Cannot jump across pits or anything like that, or even fall into pits on your own! There is not a lot of room templates, many can repeat on the same floor. Secret levels ALWAYS have the same layout (minus mazes) and ALWAYS have the same rewards (minus NPCs). Again, you can experience everything in this regard in several full runs and don't miss anything. I can complain and complain... It could have been better in many ways... Maybe I just expected too much variety (from a roguelike?). Enemy variety and magic is fine, but everything else? Just play Shattered Pixel Dungeon, really (for free!). On positive side, I really liked the vibes, the art is nice, the music is probably the best part of the game (vibes, as I said). And I found it quite interesting for maybe the first 10 hours... But I wanted to see more and at some point it gets boring to the same things over and over, there is not enough room or tools for experimentation and player growth. Not a bad game exactly, just not worth that much (for me at least).
It's addictive! There's so much packed into a seemingly "little" game that you can play for hours on end and still have only scratched the surface of Barony. I'm nearly 50 hours in and still messing with the bare basics of the game and having a ton of fun doing it. Endless replay-ability, and tons of fun. Highly recommend!
