Its a really fun underated game that should be getting more attention
Amazing. Has a rough start, but learning to play leads to a great gameplay loop with a massive variety of content. Only issues are: - Progression. The DLCs are amazing for varied content and a plethora of new mechanics, but it really feels like you -need- to buy them for this game. - Scaling. Runs start off incredibly weak, except for magic, and then scale extremely hard into the mid-late game if you properly make efforts to do so. Magic, on the other hand, scales poorly and requires a lot of help to get payoff. Magic's late game really needs help - you shouldn't need arcane mark or similar in order to effectively fight the late game enemies who have massive resistances as you fight with a limited mana pool.
pretty good game. kind of frustrating in the first 6 hours trying to figure how to do stuff. ninja best class
PLAY. THE. TUTORIAL. Skipped the tutorial first go round cause who needs it! Played plenty of dungeon crawler games... Died SO fast. Got acclimated by attempt three, but when I went back and played the tutorial.. total game changer. Amazing how many mechanics they put it. Something for every play style!
fun and simple
An awesome person recommended me this game and i fell in love with it in an instant. I just beat a run for the first time and i must say the game has amazing mechanics, multiple playstyles, very funny easter eggs, lots of content and lots of secret areas. Will definitely buy the dlc once i'm able to 'cuz i really wanna try the other classes and races
cool
The best first-person roguelike I’ve played so far. I can’t recommend it at full price, but on sale - definitely.
This is a fun retro style roguelike with layered game mechanics. It looks like a straightforward game at first but don't let the graphics deceive you - this game will kick your ass and then some. The learning curve is steep (as with any roguelikes) but given time and perseverance, you can master this game, and when you do, you can conquer every challenge that it can offer.
