just wow a scary(like bro this ♥♥♥♥♥ scary) sad and chalingeing game and the messege is what we all needed i say plz buy it and play it
After putting in a lot of hours into this game, I must say its a more unique take on horror, a bit of a refresher, if you will. Its nice to get a break from the same old tropes most horror games have. Here, the advantage is, you're not even a human, but a small dog. Having to rely more on your cunning than anything just to survive to the next day. Pros: -You get to be a dog and experience things through their eyes! - Most of the objectives are pretty straightforward, but you can't get too comfortable and gotta remember danger lingers (Aka the owner or the German Shepherds you encounter, also, props to not making them Pitbulls!) - A lot of the achievements are simple enough, but others remain a challenge! - This might be just a "me" one, but I love how cartoon-ishy ugly the owner truly is, instead of being intimidated, I found myself laughing at his overall design. Same with the voice. But I do get to a dog, these aspects are downright scary! - You don't get punished if you don't do an objective right away and therefore, you can freely roam/explore a bit, but still restrictive to where you do gotta do your objective eventually, this makes finding treats a lot easier at times, getting them first then completing your current day. Cons: - Some bugs that some times prevent the game from continuing. I found reloading a previous quick save tends to fix it. My biggest bug was some times the door not being opened at the final level but loading the last quick save fixed it pretty much. - The points you need to unlock some things seems.. a tad high and I've only gotten to a certain number. Sure I just need to put in more effort, which I'll work on! - While I agree the challenges can be fun, I find the final level to be... well, a little too massive and the hints/objective guide is also a bit lacking, despite it even mentioning your objective may not be clear. It took me some time to figure out how to trigger the last two events in order for you to complete the game. - Some hiding spots to avoid the German Shepherds in the massive final level would also be nice too, other than an occasional car if you're able to even get under them. I also find one hint, saying if you bark at the German Shepherds when they bark at you, is also false. Through my own experiments (And a lot of "death by German Shepherd" scenes), if their aura is white, then yes, you can bark back and they'll back down. Its the red aura ones you need to avoid at all costs and run away before they fully detect you. I did wish the game did hint that barking back WON'T always be the wisest choice. - Finding treats in the final level takes a lot of effort. And needing to avoid the German Shepherds, which even the game makes it difficult, such as most of my deaths happen purely at random and without warning, not even the "danger" music plays to inform me one is about to chase/attack, giving me no chance to even flee. So I could be wandering, minding my own business and suddenly, death by German Shepherd happens out of no where and without warning. Dunno if this is a bug or not, just thought I still bring it up just in case if the programming might be mixed up. Overall, I still found this to be a good experience and I'm glad I was gifted this for Christmas from one of my friends and I look forward to putting in more hours into the unlockables once I can get them and hopefully, this game can get some DLC or even a possible sequel in the future. I look forward to seeing what else gets added or patched in this game! 8/10
Cool
Game requires me to restart the level when being caught by the enemy during the hallucinations. Really good game but i dont want to play the level over and over again
its been too long without a patch fixing the window dog
I recommend this game and I officially will play again...This game has been the best.
This game is a waste, terrible and poorly designed the stealth is abominable and the enemy design is lackluster. Only two enemies throughout the game. When the game introduces free roam it is like trying to find out what obamas middle name is. The game reuses mechnics consantly to fill space so you don't get a refund and the price tag is criminal 13 dollars to eat trash and chase squrriels? Id rather shatter my teeth with a hammer please with the money you accrued from this game buy me dentures, So I don't have to eat your ♥♥♥♥ game. it is like im a puppy in the box down the road and you shot me with a gun. This game should be why steam should allow refunds over 3 hours. If you make another game call it "MEOW" you ♥♥♥♥.
