Banners of Ruin

I love this game so much I bought it twice -- first on Prime gaming, but Prime doesn't implement upgrades, so I have been unable to get the "heroes" upgrades. So, I bought it a few years later on Steam, where those upgrades are obtainable. This game is a fun strategy-card game challenge and I never tire of it; even when I frequently lose before defeating the warden.

Meh... I was really excited for this game during the previews. The ability to choose a path, build a deck, and see a full story. After 5 hours I found the combat underwhelming with a rinse and repeat storyline. The game loop just isn't as entertaining as say something like Darkest Dungeon II or and in depth story line like Wildermyth. There a few different types of armor and swords, but again, nothing that stands out. The bosses aren't special, just HP sponges and it's a game attrition. There are combos, but nothing that stood out like, "I need to build my deck for this." Graphics and UI are nice, but it's overly taxing on my PC for a game that honestly doesn't need to be doing much. If you like deck builders, sure get it, but on sale... don't buy the DLC until you try it out (unlike me who went all in).

Great deckbuilder with an immersive atmosphere that somehow manages to feel a tad too shallow. Would love to see a sequel with tons more content.

Slow burner that becomes increasingly satisfying the more attacks you stack and lessons that you learn.

ммм, сочные карточные руины) очень приятно сделана, наверное топовый карточный рогалий, который приходилось щупать! кривая сложности немного кривая, зачастую на старте вас будет сносить элитный отряд, но если рольнуть толковые карты/таланты, то можно бахнуть 3 уровня даже с клятвами) в остальном просто сок: визуал, аудио, геймплей гармонично и качественно сделаны. Иногда правда понимаешь, что тратишь больше времени для прокрутки колоды на нужные эффекты для фарма, анимация мальца тормозная, но это всё же не шпиль или другие какие рожочки, которые ультиматизируют картодроч)) тут всё по стилю

游戏玩法不错，很有风味，但文本和翻译很劝退：有些卡牌的效果描述翻译得很糟糕，而且很多地方都有文本错误。如果能适应下来倒没什么了，CDK也足够便宜，真假俩结局，真结局要做告密者任务，成就甚至不用特意去做，玩着玩着就做完了，总体还是可以玩的。
