The game is a great time waster, easy to get into and has a decent spread of map biomes. Modding is easy and the never have any issues running it until the population get too high... then it a little plague to help drop population and then my game runs fine again for awhile :) Buy it and let the sounds of cow moo's and the tinks of the pickaxes in your mines ring loudly in the ears of the everyone in your house while you play!
still one of the best colony sims
hands down one of the best city builders around. i pirated it years ago and loved it so much that i bought it. the start of the game is all about strategy and taking it slow. the first hour of a new save is exciting but nerve wracking. making crop farms and hunters cabins are your best bet to keep on top of food. after you have food sorted out, its onto clothes, tools, firewood etc etc. its not difficult once you get the hang of it, but definitely take it slow and dont be too ambitious when you first start. after you have everything sorted production wise, its a great game to just switch off your brain and play. i love this game, highly recommended to any city builder enjoyers.
This game is fascinating. It is exactly what it claims to be, a city-building strategy game in it's purest form. No monsters or other outside forces are needed to destroy the city, one can do that by oneself with a few wrong decisions. The game's mechanics are quite easy to learn, but that does not make the game itself easy! Additional challenges can be switched on with "disasters", if one needs it. Runs perfectly on 2026 contemporary gaming gear and is definitely good for a few replays. High recommendation on this one. The graphics are also more than sufficient for this game and the villagers are cute to follow and curse at, if they do not do something logical. Well thought through concept and a very well crreated game. Strong recommendation for fans of colony simulations - even more than a decade after it's original release!
Indiferentemente de sus pro y sus contras. Banished a esta altura debería ser un completo juego de culto entre los constructores de ciudades.
Simple but fun game. Love playing this game to relax, until everything gets blown up by a tornado.
Without mods the game have gameplay for like 5 hours until you get bored. 6/10 on huge sale
Great game, we need a SEQUEL!
Oldie but Goodie
Great game. Now getting started could be a little hard when you get the hang of it. It is great. I wish they didn't abandon the game and polished a couple little things.Playing with mods is great but sometimes it crashes or it does not work. You got to be picky with the mods that you use because they are somewhat outdated.Very fun game. I love it so much. We need a sequel or updates to it.My library is great. I wish we could expand it.If you like resource management games that are somewhat realistic, this game is great. It will take some time to get the hang of it but when you do you have a lot of fun.Just be aware, as long as your population is growing, you just gotta expand, expand, expand.
