Aveyond 3-4: The Darkthrop Prophecy

The last game in the series starts off quickly. Really loved how we got back the characters we all know and love. The plot was good and I liked the new features because our choices actually matter in the long run. The story parts of the game were exceptional and the characters were awesome! I was again pleasantly surprised by the amount of gamplay, which is the highest for this game. For me, the only game that didn't do as well as it should've is Aveyond 3-3: The Lost Orb, though I love all of them dearly. In the end, I just want to thank Aveyond Studios for making this series. I loved this journey and would love to see more stuff from you guys.

The story was good, and the mechanics have vastly improved over the previous games in the series. The places we've previously visited in all the games were unavailable, which could be good or bad. It was getting repetitive to revisit the same places over and over, so the new places were a welcome change. However, one of my favorites parts about this series is the ability to go around collecting animals for Moo Hatchery. Not being able to even visit it took a lot out of the experience for me. And since this was the last of the series, and they just added new areas while keeping the old in the other installments, I think it would have been better if they had at least let us visit the old areas even if there were no missions there. So, it was fun, and more polished than the others. But they could have done better in tying it to the rest of the series.

Excellent game. Easily the best of the four game series. Edward's new sword is a great idea and a fun addition. There are many unique locations and interesting plot surprises. Maps are well done and pleasing to the eye. Game is long enough to satisfy anyone. Update: I just tried to play the 4th aveyond game "shadow of the mist" I only made it about half way and quit. Darkthrop Prophecy is far superior.

The whole serie is fun to play , kinda old-fashion but still enjoyable for everyone who likes rpg's .

Last part of Aveyond 3, it was very well executed and story comes out full circle (I don't care what the "canon" is, thank goodness they let you pick, because Edward would not go for butterfly girl. I love Stella, but no!) Also, this way our sweet darkling is also happy so it's a win-win.

My childhood :') runs well with no bugs despite being an old game

i recomend to play all 4 ep of Aveyond Orb of Magic, to in order to see the full story >.</ though the 4th one is abit disappointing that they remove some of the good stuff from the 1st 3, but is ok, is for some purpose to prevent players to do this and that (y) looking forward to aveyond 4. a new story is coming soon >.</ yea~
