yes
I bought this game because I have many unexisting ideas for cars that I initially gave life through Screwdrivers; however, I have a couple of problems with Screwdrivers, of which I just thought this game would just not have. The main goal I had with these types of games was to make whatever thing came to my mind, and when Automation showed me screenshots of complete engine tuning, such as displacement, I was instantly interested, So I was reallyy hyped to "Create the car of my Dreams" as advertised. In Screwdrivers, while they do allow you to make ANYTHING since you're placing piece by piece, they do come with many limitations such as the size of gears and tuning of engines, which made many of the cars that I wanted to create, simply impossible. The first car that I tried to make, was my dream of a F1 styled Hypercar. For over a year now, I have been actually studying and had my mind set on a 3.6L V12 with very little piston travel, capable of spinning at 12,500rpm. Which showed the first limitation, the RPM limit of 12k, it is very silly, but with a peak of 11,500rpm on a 12k rpm redline, I just don't get that beautiful roar I heard in F1 cars as a kid during sunday mornings. Then came making the car itself, I wanted to make a small car with pushrod suspension so it's nimble and agile, and the engine doesn't fit. I have to get a bigger body even though all it's needed to work, is to put the engine 5cm above where the game thinks the engine should be. I download a mod (edit) to get a body that fits the engine (edit) and just ignore the issue. Then comes the second one, I always found smart cars to be awkward and wish they were RWD or AWD, but obviously because of their miniscusle engine bay, that would be very hard with a inline. But recently, I realized that motorcycles have the same issue, and they fix it by putting V2s, W3s or even W4s in some rare cases, there it was, the solution to getting sporty smart cars! There are no V2s, W3s or W4s in the game. I am incredibly disappointed and sad that I can't bring my ideas to life. I'm pretty sure that if the player just wants to make normal cars and play as if they were owners of a real life car company the game must slap, but I'm weird, and the game just doesn't cut it for me :(
yea sure this games pretty cool ig
