Augmented Empire

Was given a key to try the game and give my thoughts. At a glance it looks like a X-com style game with nice artwork. I really liked some of the nuances the separate it like reaction based mechanics for attacking/ defending. The Voice acting is solid and the cast is A+ Characters are distinctive and memorable too. Well worth the price of £5.99

A solidly designed tactical RPG that introduces mechanics and characters slowly enough to be a great introduction to the genre for beginners, though the real star of the game is probably the absolutely stellar voice cast. Nick Frost, Kate "Captain Janeway" Mulgrew, Jennifer "Shadowheart" English, Garrick "Biggs" Hagon, Doug "Geralt of Rivia" Cockle, just to name a few of the most prominent. I was honestly a bit shocked at the $8 price tag since I assumed it would be in the $20 range. If you are looking for a streamlined tactical experience with some great voice talent in a cyberpunk setting then it could very much be for you!

Really, really enjoyable! Superb graphics, fun story and top-level voice acting. What a cast!! Low, low price, too. OK, combat may be less than challenging, but it's pacey enough and you can vary character builds and party make-up for more variety. Can't recommend it highly enough.

I know it's my fault that I bought without looking. But why WHY, WHY!!! this is a regular flat game, not steam vr, especially when its basic version is actually a VR game on a quest.

Definitivamente uno de los mejores rpg por turnos que he jugado, me encantaría que se creará una continuacion, la cuál compraría definitivamente, no hay ninguna perdida

Gioco a turni che si svolge in un prossimo futuro. Si dovranno affrontare 26 missioni lineari, potendo utilizzare fino ad un massimo di 6 personaggi, ognuno con la sua classe e le sue mosse speciali (che cresceranno anche di livello svolgendo le missioni). Ho particolarmente apprezzato la caratterizzazione dei personaggi (Willa Thorn davvero interessante) e la storia che mi ha tenuto interessato sino alla fine (poco più di 12 ore di gioco). Ulteriore valore aggiunto le voci dei personaggi tutte parlate e la musica molto d'atmosfera. I due unici appunti, che non intaccano il mio voto positivo, riguardano le mappe, in linea di massima troppo piccole e la difficoltà non molto elevata. In definitiva, visto anche il prezzo contenuto, decisamente consigliato agli appassionati del genere.

I enjoyed the quality voice acting and diverse cast of characters. The gameplay I found simplistic and quite repetitive towards the end. Art and music are good. I'd recommend when on sale for a casual playthrough. Overall, very silly.
