About

You wake up in a deserted city, the only one not to disappear. Everyone seems to have disappeared suddenly, leaving behind crashed cars, open houses, and their belongings. But you're not alone. There's something out there in this strange city, full of even stranger sights and events. Welcome to A Day Without Me, an isometric puzzle adventure game where you'll have to figure out how you were left as the lone survivor of a mass disappearance on Earth, while trying to hold on to your sanity.

A deep, complex story: Figuring out the mystery behind the disappearance requires more than a straightforward playthrough. Pay attention to the environment, examine each object carefully, and watch out for strange clues that help you understand - even if they make no sense at first.
A city to explore: The abandoned city has plenty of challenges and puzzles to solve, both in plain sight and hidden away. The semi-open world makes playthroughs unpredictable and unique.
An eerie sight: A city without people has a haunting beauty to it, realized through a highly stylized art style that can change moment to moment as you delve deeper into the mystery and face mind-bending challenges.

OK: This game has an excellent name and a strong premise (a child wakes up to find his neighborhood inexplicably devoid of people and himself its sole occupant). I respect someone just putting collectibles like an illustration of Yao Ming or a batik pattern for no reasons other than "I like Yao Ming" or "my ex made this batik for me and I wanted to share this memory," which are happily shared with the player in the user interface. There's real "I don't care what tools or resources I have, I'm making a game, dammit" energy here, and I respect it. But my brother in Christ: you have to give your player some sort of handhold in how to solve your puzzles or what to do or where to go next or how to identify that a puzzle is even present, and not strand them in a massive, ultra-zoomed-in maze with no direction as to how to proceed. When I picked this up, I wandered the town for an hour, made no progress except in collectibles, and turned it off. A couple years later, I gave the game another try; I wandered for another hour in an entirely different direction (I could tell because I picked up new collectibles), again made no progress, then checked an LP video and thought, "oh, OK, that's why I'm not making progress, nothing makes sense." Still better than The Suicide of Rachel Foster.
Boy, it's been a while since i've played such a BAD game. I am even struggling to find words to describe just how bad it was. Fist of all, the game fails to tell you what to do. Often, the trigger to get the "story" to continue is something very obscure and stupid, something you don't just come up with yourself. Then, the "story" is just ... missing? There is nothing. You wake up, have to turn off the alarm on the computer (?), then you summon devils (??), walk around the neighborhood, are randomly unable to touch any number that are not a multiple of 3, are chased by a ball of faces (???), have to run from a fire that chases you underground (????), have to walk around the attrociously bad map to see your character shoot himself multiple times (?????), then run from weird deer ghosts in the forrest (??????), "escape" the forest by walking further into it (???????) and then it's over. There is literally no sense to it, there is no satisfaction and you have to constantly fight the urge to throw your pc out the window. Save your money and your sanity, put this game on your ignore list on steam and never think about it again.
This game is simple and nice, with a bit of a puzzle that should offer you plenty of challenge. There's a mysterious vibe of horror that's definitely worth experiencing, especially for just a few dollars. So if you enjoy a good scare and a good challenge, this game is definitely worth checking out!
I Reluctantly recommend this game, it has poor english translation on PC for example: Where the sound coming? but on console it's properly translated: Where The sound is coming from? Check The Chruch? you mean Check The Church? Find Out What Happen? you mean Find Out What Happened? Oh and besides minor typo errors or just poorly put together english objective statements the sound of the alarm right when you load into the game among other sounds are so annoying you might as well just mute the game if you want a sense of peace while piecing together what's going on in the game, getting the keys you need to shut the alarm off, dying on the Hopscotch game even if you walk on it correctly and other such things like that. i'm only recommending this game because for the most part it's playable and not as broken as any other game that could've been improperly coded and forgotten about would be, i've personally gotten all 12 Collectibles and the ending without too much trouble. if i scored this game i give it a 5 out of 10 i deduct 5 points because the sounds are god awful, the poor english and lack of spellcheck or small constructive sentences on the objectives, glitched out progress reset and achievement progression, collectibles don't reset basically, and everything else as far as the demons in the game i never cared for, and the ending doesn't make sense of course... ah well.
Very small download size and you can play it on basically potato PC menu is so straightforward and there are quite wide selection of language including Jawa the gameplay is quite... mysterious? There are almost no clue, and you will never know whether this or that is a puzzle or not Lack of backstory, which makes it more creepy, and the ending is so... unexpected. one of the best $5 i've spent
Clever games curator review: 0/10 This is absolute trash. The "puzzles" are of the category "if there's a thing you can interact with, do so. If the first thing you tried didn't work, try the next possible random combination". The story is (maybe??) a thing it has, but good luck following it from the "clues". I haven't play a game less redeeming all year. Also, it completely lies about having full gamepad support. You can move with a gamepad but cannot interact with any of the objects in the game or do anything else. Really, that's for the best: The only way to "enjoy" this game is to not play it, much like thermonuclear war.
I spent 17 minutes trying to figure out how to turn the stupid alarm off to progress the game. Gave up. Obnoxious nonstop noise. Dont waste your money.
Clunky - Unclear directions - Dissatisfying puzzles - unskippable credits after initial "puzzle" - outright irritating audio right off the bat. Uninstalled after 10 minutes.
the game is about cluelessness, and that's what we get too many time to spend, too many glitches, the storytelling is dragging, some ambiences feel contradicted with the game atmosphere, and no trigger warning at all the premise is cool imo, but the delivery isn't fun it feels like, this game only enjoyable for specific target audiences instead of casual players
