For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Dash, jump, and wall-jump through fixed stages, swapping between four weapons, using throwables and perks, collecting orbs for upgrades, and battling bosses in runs that reset but keep progress. The story wastes no time throwing you directly into the heart of danger. At its core lies the sudden rise of a powerful sorcerer whose presence threatens to destabilize the fragile balance between two long-feuding factions. This conflict quickly becomes more personal. The sorcerer’s influence reaches into your inner circle, corrupting the minds of your three closest companions and friends. Under the sorcerer’s control, they are twisted into his elite personal guard. Captured, you are bound to a tree, left helpless for two years. During this time, the world around you changes but not that much. You are saved by your old sword, which becomes infused with magical energy during an encounter with magic. This mystical surge grants it sentience, and in its newfound state of awareness, your sword rescues you from captivity. Although your character is a bird, the game doesn’t allow flight across its environments. Instead, you rely on an arsenal of nimble, grounded abilities. From the outset, you have access to several versatile movement techniques. Your quick base speed ensures you can dart through levels with precision, while your jump can be extended into a double jump for added mobility. Walls are also an ally, thanks to a wall-jump that requires two parallel vertical surfaces. To round things out, you wield a dash maneuver, capable of propelling you forward or upward. When combined with jumps, this dash becomes especially powerful, allowing for fluid platforming and swift escapes from danger because of invincibility. While movement helps you survive the environment, combat depends on your weapons. You begin your journey equipped with four distinct options. The katana delivers rapid strikes but with lighter impact, perfect for keeping up relentless pressure; the heavy sword swings slower but hits harder, ideal for foes that demand strong, decisive blows; the chain-whip grants a longer reach, helping you maintain distance; while the hammer arcs through the air when thrown. Alongside your standard arsenal, you have access to several secondary abilities. One such feature is a temporary helper that fires at enemies. To call it forth, you must first charge a bar by landing hits with your primary weapons. Although its usefulness is limited and its duration brief, even a few extra moments of damage can tilt combat in your favor. Another ability involves a throwable weapon on cooldown. When released, it automatically homes in on the nearest enemy, bouncing between multiple targets if clustered together. This tool shines against irritating aerial foes, which otherwise disrupt your rhythm during platforming sequences. As you progress, orbs become the primary collectible resource. Green orbs are most common, found both scattered in stages and dropped by enemies. Collecting enough levels up your character, granting an additional point of health each time. Supposedly, leveling up also enhances damage, though I didn’t notice any difference. Blue orbs, on the other hand, serve as currency. Only obtained through combat, they can be spent in the central hub to purchase upgrades. Finally, red orbs allow for a temporary transformation into a powerful, invincible bird form. The transformation, however, takes considerable time to charge and is most useful during boss encounters. Among all collectibles, remnants are the most impactful. Dropped randomly from enemies, these serve as perks that directly modify gameplay. The effects vary widely, from reflecting enemy projectiles to granting automatic healing and extra dash. Duplicate remnants improve the perk’s potency, though further copies provide no additional benefit. The downside, however, is that you lose all remnants upon death. Death returns you to the central hub. Here, a campfire offers limited but permanent upgrades, while a large bird provides transport back into the field for another attempt. Upgrades include practical boosts such as wider collection ranges for orbs, additional charges for throwable weapons, or even extra lives. These perks can be purchased only twice, which means that your success still depends on your skills. Despite references to “runs,” the game avoids randomness. Each stage layout is fixed, with consistent enemy types, hazards, and orb placements. Progression leads through several zones, each concluding with a boss battle against one of your corrupted friends. Although bosses must be defeated during every attempt, they are generally manageable once patterns are learned. Stage design favors straightforward progression, with only occasional NPC encounters, orb stashes, or optional challenge rooms breaking up the flow. Completing the game once unlocks a harder second run. This new challenge resets your level but preserves purchased upgrades and accumulated blue orbs. Enemies, however, are made far more dangerous through the addition of shields. These shields can only be broken by striking with specific weapons – each corresponds to one color. Combined with larger enemy groups and more shield variety, the difficulty ramps up significantly, forcing you juggle between weapons. The good news is that you won't have to deal with bosses again, except for the final one. The bad news is that once you finish the second run, you can't go back to old stages to look for missing easter eggs and challenge rooms. All you can do is erase your progress and start a fresh game.
Note globale : 18/20 --------------------------------------------------------------------
Hello everyone!
With Atomic Owl, get ready to face a wizard crow who has corrupted those who were once our friends! Review made on Twitch: https://www.twitch.tv/hyrroh
Positive points:
- A gorgeous art direction! The pixel art is stunning - A charming story (even though I’m not fully comfortable with English) - A demanding platformer that pushes you to explore every corner - Different weapons allowing you to switch up the gameplay with a weapon-switch system
Negative points:
- The combat feels a bit lacking in dynamism. The character slows down when attacking with a weapon, which makes dodging harder — not really a fan - French localization would help to better enjoy the story The game is really nice, but the fact that I couldn’t get into the slower-paced combat made me stop playing. Too bad, because it’s very good — but maybe you’ll enjoy it more than I did. I still highly recommend it! Overall score: 18/20
The music, and the art is absolutely stunning. That alone makes me recommend this. As someone with a bit of motor skill issues and not being terribly well-versed in platformers I'd say that the platforming is a bit on the harder side.
Atomic Owl is a mixed bag, but I'm erring on the positive side. The goal of making a roguelite that feels like it's 1991 really feels like the center of the whole experience. The platforming is pretty brutal at points and can be frustrating, as is being killed by a boss and getting sent back to the start to give it another go. Enemies drop pretty important power ups along the way like triple jump that can be game changers for bosses, which pushes you away from just speed running to get back to where you were before dying. The biggest downside is the combat. The whip is really the only viable weapon other than the hammer, which is really only good for flying enemies. A late-game mechanic forces you to use other weapons, but combat still ultimately becomes the weakest part of the game. On the flip side, the platforming is fun albeit brutal and the standout feature of the entire experience is absolutely the vibe. Art is pretty, soundtrack is great, and you can feel the passion. It's not as good as it could be, but Atomic Owl is pretty good. TLDR - Very pretty game that's carried by its art direction. Can be frustrating at points, but it feels like that's the kind of experience that they're shooting for.
very fun, very challenging, and nice graphic. The gameplay not boring too https://youtube.com/live/9_0kXu6Bn8g?feature=share
Received this game for free last summer. Took a while for me to get the hang of it but I eventually got it and loved it. The art style and music are great, but my one qualm with it is the dialogue. Some parts are voiced and some aren't, which isn't a problem in itself, but sometimes the voiced parts will just drop off mid-dialogue as if only half the lines were actually recorded. Overall fun game for me, but I definitely would recommend shutting off the CRT effects if you get chronic migraines like me.
Great graphics, amazing theme and gameplay. But, unfortunately can't play on my laptop, just in my console. I thought I could play without dedicated GPU, due to artstyle is pixelated. And in-game I cannot switch 1080p to 720p. You don't have to wait a sale to enjoy it, just trust our reviews. It's incridble.
Haven't played a side-scroller in years- brings back memories of Apple //e and Amiga games, only with modern graphics and effects. Music has an 80's vibe, which I dig. Played on a Steam Deck OLED, very smooth animation and love the neon blue and purple theme, has Blade Runner vibes. Gameplay is fun and has a lot of complexity- will take some time to learn all the tricks!
