I am a big fan of asterix and obelix comics and games but this one is not good. the game has potential and would be fun to play if it had less lag. the controls are weird, pourly optimised. I know i play on a laptop creating more lag but i can still play CS2 without problems, I was just playing when my laptop got low battery and the "you have low battery screen" crashed the game. most indie games are better optimised.

Für zwischen drin, wenn man die Asterix und Obelix Systematik feiert ist das absolut sein Geld wert. Man kann sich das ganze wie Mario vorstellen nur halt in 3D und von der Top-Down Perspektive. Kann ich nur empfehlen. LG Flo

It's suprisingly good. Combat system actually has depth and requires you to think not just push buttons. Graphic has its esthetic and it is nice to look. Music was composed really well and it does not irritate. This game got that cheap feeling and could be much better but still as a co-op option it is actually almost awesome.

Asterix evreninin mizahı, karakterleri ve hafif tonu hâlâ yerli yerinde; özellikle çizgi romanları bilenler için yüz gülümseten anlar var. Grafik tarzı daha renkli ve çizgi film havasında, bu bazı oyuncular için hoşken bazıları için serinin önceki oyunlarına göre biraz “fazla yumuşak” kalıyor. Çevreler canlı ama detay seviyesi sınırlı. Oynanış basit ve erişilebilir. Dövüşler eğlenceli ama çabuk tekrar ediyor, düşman çeşitliliği düşük. Kristal Menhir mekaniği fikren ilginç olsa da oynanışa derinlik katmakta zorlanıyor. Kısacası: Asterix & Obelix XXL 3, nostalji ve hafif aksiyon arayanlar için fena değil; ama serinin en güçlü halkası da değil. Kısa, zararsız ve orta karar bir macera.

Both prequels had much better gameplay. Two strongest Gaul warriors, can't even jump. Still, doesn't look bad so far

The art style is great, very reminiscent of the original comics, as is much of the writing. However, the combat is both extremely basic and overly complicated because whilst 'attack' is a single button for a single combo, all special attacks require 2 button presses. There are only 7 types of enemies (at least up to the point where I stopped playing), and no bosses that I'd seen. But then comes the biggest problems: glitches and "jumping". Firstly, the glitches aren't about no-clipping into walls, physics going haywire, or bodies stretching out wildly, they are solely environmental collision glitches. Biggest example, being unable to to go down a set of stairs because an invisible wall half an inch high is in the way. In virtually any other game, you'd just sump over it, but in this game, the only "jump" is a forward roll. True, the roll gets you over these annoying little invisible walls, but then the game wants you to use the roll for platforming. Whether it works or not is completely random, but most of the time, not. The problem is, you're rolling in the air towards platforms that may not have the right collision, so if you drop even a tiny bit (which it certainly seems like you do), you hit the wall and miss the platform. And this is why I stopped playing. There's a jump you have to do to progress, and despite trying it every which way I possibly could for a good 20 minutes, every jump went straight into the wall. So it's basically soft-locked, and on that basis alone, I can't recommend it, even as a quick, fun romp in Asterix and Obelix world when it's on the deepest of deep Steam sales.

Игра создана для тех кто в теме и разбирается с лором комиксов, фильмов и игр. Очень нравится данная игра играю в неё редко чтобы рапробовать как вино, не тороплюсь с прохождением, случаются переодически баги. Играю на самой высокой сложности и проходить аванпосты очень сложно и долго, это минус.
