[h1]Asterix & Obelix XXL 2: A Fun Platformer with disastrous performance![/h1]
In Asterix & Obelix XXL 2, you're once again tasked with rescuing your friends from captivity. The story is easy to follow, has surprising twists, and is funny.
The attack patterns are more varied and dynamic than in XXL 1.
Beating up your enemies feels even better.
Now we come to the point that led me to give the game a negative review, the disastrous performance!
While the graphics in ultra HD are indeed sharp, you can't actually enjoy that sharpness. The game runs at a maximum of 39/40 FPS, and that's even when there's no combat. During battles, the game only runs at 18 FPS. It's unplayable.
I don't know how anyone could program a sequel to XXL 1 with such bugs...
I only played the game to 100% because I didn't want to leave it unfinished. It could have been so good.
The achievements aren't difficult to unlock, they're easy and quick to play through.
Importantly, if you collect all the helmets and postcards, and have all the abilities, but haven't destroyed a metal door in the first level, you'll only get 99% completion.
The door in the donkey kong level has to be destroyed by Obilix for 100% completion.
I bought the game on sale for €1.99. The full price is unjustified!
Due to the performance issues, I cannot and will not recommend the game and will deliberately avoid XXL 3 because these performance problems are also present.
Very disappointing!

[h1]Asterix & Obelix XXL 2 ein spaßiger Plattformer mit katastrophaler Performance![/h1]
In Asterix & Obelix XXL 2 hat man mal wieder die Aufgabe seine Freunde aus der Gefangenschaft zu retten. Die Story ist verständlich, hat überraschende Wendungen und ist witzig.
Die Angriffsmuster sind vielseitiger und dynamischer als in XXL 1. Es fühlt sich noch besser an, die Gegner zu vermöbeln.
Jetzt kommen wir zum Punkt welcher mich dazu entschieden hat, das Spiel negativ zu bewerten, es ist die katastrophale Performance!
Die Grafik in ultra HD ist zwar gestochen scharf, jedoch kann man diese Schärfe nicht genießen. Das Spiel läuft maximal bei 39 / 40 FPS und das, bei Situationen wo keine Kämpfe stattfinden. In Kämpfen bricht das Spiel ein und läuft nur bei 18 FPS. Es ist nicht zu ertragen.
Ich weiß nicht wie man einen Nachfolger von XXL 1, so fehlerhaft programmieren kann...
Ich habe das Spiel nur zu 100% gespielt, weil ich es nicht unvollständig lassen wollte. Es hätte so gut werden können.
Die Errungenschaften sind nicht schwer, gut und schnell zu erspielen.
Wichtig, wenn man alle Helme und Postkarten gesammelt hat, sowie alle Fähigkeiten besitzt, ohne eine Metalltür im ersten Level zerstört zu haben, hat man das Spiel nur auf 99%.
Die Tür im Donkey Kong Level muss für die 100% von Obilix zerstört werden.
Ich habe das Spiel im Angebot für 1,99€ gekauft. Der volle Preis ist ungerechtfertigt!
Auf Grund der Performance kann und will ich das Spiel nicht empfehlen und werde bewusst auf XXL 3 verzichten, weil da diese Performanceprobleme auch vorliegen.
