Good game that needs extra thought on levels and enemies. Nevertheless, nice job!
打着EtG,突然收到一封steam的邮件:“《Assault on the Necrospire》现推出抢先体验版”。 简单来说,Assault on the Necrospire是一款action-roguelite,双摇杆射击游戏。 十分期待Assault on the Necrospire的未来。记得gungeon面世之前,一个外国UP说过“This will be something special",如今我也是这样评价这个游戏。

Assault on the necrospire needs life. Currently its a bland experience with no flavor poured into a solid foundation. Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c9DXtuX0n38 Text: Sure, it's early access - and we make allowances for that, but from a game play viewpoint, the game has the excitement and personality of a wet dishrag. Its easthetic is well executed and clean, but doesn't deviate from "oh, retro". It doesn't look bad, and you're never confused about things, and the various tilesets are decenty varied and with a clean animation quality, but if you put it against 10 other retro style games I'd be hard pressed to find a something to point out as exceptional about it, its safe and clean in a market saturated with it. Its randomised levels and rogue like progression are basic and provide very little variety or emergent gameplay besides the basics, and while different mobs spawn everywhere you have no need to adapt or alter your tactics or think ahead... it's all identical "hold down left mouse button and wait" When most your game consists out of "Hold down LMB and wait" in terms of combat or tactical complexity, in a game where combat is 95% of the gameplay - that is a massive issue and needs to be adressed from the ground up. This games combat, progression and itemisation / character building is so very bland, it might as well not exist. Which isn't to say this game doesn't have potential, as from a technical perspective this is one of the most stable and technicly competent titles to come into early access in ages. It runs smooth, clean and performs fine. ..It's just that the combat mechanics puts you to sleep.
Pros:
• Lots of items that alter the gameplay (instead of just altering stats), which opens room for interesting combinations • Well-drawn pixel Art • Difficulty modifiers adjust the gameplay, opening new experiences, instead of simply • The environment is well polished • Responsive controls • Pleasant, not-annoying, ambient music • Interesting Bosses, fights involve multiple stages
Cons:
• Slow Travel Time. Cannot really teleport between the rooms, even the ones that you’ve visited which often makes. • Not that big room variety (80 room layouts means you’ll be seeing lots of duplicates if you play long enough), some rooms (especially the cross shaped one) don’t give much space for maneuvering resulting in inevitable loss of health • As with most of RNG-based games, sometimes the random does not favor you. You might get bad rooms or bad items and die fairly quickly • Only one basic attack at the start, could use a bit more variety (or improved feeling? Lesser damage but faster firing speed or just a bit shinier) Overall, I’d buy this one now if you like to give feedback on early access games. The developer is really friendly and you can clearly see that the game was made with love, so there’s potential. Otherwise, I think it’s worth to wait until there are more clarity and content to get the most out of it. This game looks very promising. It feels great to play. There are some really cool ideas happening here. It's basically a twin stick shooter roguelike type game, but with an item/ inventory system that allows you to tailor the combat to your liking (most of the time anyway, depending on the RNG factor) Pretty much all the items you find could be used in combination with another to make some really interesting, and often surprising, results. The game has only been out for a few weeks, and already it has greatly improved from the original build. I look forward to seeing what the developer does with this game.
Assault on the Necrospire is a pretty simple/basic real time roguelike dungeon crawler. You are a wizard (lacking the ability to cast many spells) roaming around the tower flinging your wand at anything that moves. There are a few interesting items you'll come across to spice up the gameplay a bit, but at the moment there's not a lot to it. Still, if roguelike dungeon crawlers are your thing, then this could potentially be a very fun little game. First off, I paid for this game. I like to support developers, especially ones that add elements to a genre. I like that this game adds an inventory system to the rogue-like genre. I can customize my loadouts or change them based on the situation. I like the music, although it would be great to add some more variety. The Graphic style is appealling to me, the retro look is great. For an early access game, I like it and look forward to future updates! Here's my Youtube review! https://youtu.be/gIyxGCVDJ-k
Very good game, fun to play, levels are interestingly made and there's no moment of boredom
Assault on the Necrospire, ilginç ganimet ve karakter oluşturmaya vurgu yapan bir roguelike oyunudur. Senin görevin Necromancer'ı yok etmek. Büyü kitabınızdaki tozu silin; ona ihtiyacın olacak
