Reviews
The ultimate tool for pixel artists. I've tried many different programs, but Aseprite is just on another level. It's fast, lightweight, and designed specifically for pixel art. The onion skinning and frame management make animating a breeze. If you are a game dev or just love retro vibes, this is a must-have. 10/10!

If you *ever* work with images at a level where individual pixels or specific colours matter, you need Aseprite and should accept no substitute. For any such use case, It is probably the greatest image manipulation program ever devised. I have tried every mainstream pixel art program (and a fair number of niche ones), and nothing else comes even remotely close. I am not being even a little bit hyperbolic, there's a reason why I have like 8700 hours in it (and why this number will continue to rise at an alarming rate). As a game developer, I really like how well Aseprite files play nice with version control and game engines. If I import an image as an Aseprite file instead of a PNG, I can make a change to one layer (even in one frame of an animation), and all I have to do to see that change in Unity is to save the file. Can I buy a beer for the engineer(s) responsible? I use Aseprite as my default app to view and edit any bitmap image. 3D textures (with PBR layers), UI stuff, even photos and screenshots. It's not exactly built for that, and it uses a crazy amount of system resources, but it's worth it. Things that are annoying in Photoshop (like quantizing an image to fit a palette or applying a convolution kernel) are 2-3 click operations in Aseprite. Simple stuff like cropping, adding text, or drawing work great, too. The amount of times I have been saved by the automatic file recovery is too many to count. You'll accidently close the program, or your computer will lose power, or it'll crash because you have a bunch of 2048x2048 textures open at once in another window, and just when you think you've lost an hour of work because you, like an idiot, forgot to save... It'll just have a backup from like 3 seconds earlier. Is it without flaws? No. It's pretty close, though. I can't think of even one thing worth complaining about, and I very much enjoy complaining about software. It's a piece of computer software that doesn't suck to use in 2026. It functions correctly. Every interaction feels like a human person designed it so that it would work the way it should work. You should probably purchase this software.
絵心がなくても気軽にドット絵が描けるソフトとしてとても良いと思います。このソフトで描いたものをSteamのアイコンとして採用しています。
Uhh, decent program mayhap
я не научился рисовать фурри порно
This is such a good application, although I have been using the free version of libresprite for a long time I still have the hope that the paid version is more useful and I'm yet to figure out. But for the cheap price I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who wants to make pixel art and you won't ever regret buying it as its the best of every pixel art editing software available.
