As Dusk Falls

As Dusk falls hit me like a hurricane of heartbreak, in a positive way. Since I didn't know what to expect its effect was much bigger. Though the game is far from perfect, it is absolutely worth it, you should experience it! The story starts trivial, a seemingly boring road trip to give you the ropes of the game's controls. The "choices matter" truly matter here, there are very few parts where the game forces you for the sake of the plot. You would have effect on many character's lives so choose carefully. I just love the characters. Not the typical Hollywood block characters, much more real, everday, ordinary people. I especially loved Vince, Jay and Vanessa, the way they are written, how they would play their roles in your way of playthrough. Smaller characters are good too, making the story deeper. The way the game portions tension is a masterpiece. You know, the characters would not get through unharmed and might try to keep everyone alive (at least I tried and was pleased what I managed to earn). The shifts between storylines and points of view is nicely done. Apart from other "choices matter" games, As Dusk Falls has a distinctive, artistic visual style. It might be odd at the beginning, but I found that I like it very much. The music is catchy and the sounds fit in. The game fills a gap in the genre, so no need to think much, grab it! Though keep in mind that one playthrough takes about 6 hours (about 1 hour per chapter) and despite the opportunities, you would probably not play it again, so I highly advise to grab it on sale.

画风非常新颖，定格动画加上cg的画面越看越有味道，玩完之后感觉看了一部美剧，人物刻画很细腻，每个人都是自己人生的主角，属于是那种越玩越有意思的游戏，能给人很多思考的空间

После прохождения остается чувство фрустрации, у игры нет сюжетного завершения. Явно подразумевались три книги по три главы, но по какой-то причине последняя так и не была реализована, из-за этого часть эпизодов кажется просто бессмысленной

One of the better "choices matter" games. You can feel the impact of your decisions as you progress. the game will really test how big of a pushover you are. There's not always a right choice and you'll have to piss someone off eventually. Try to choose the lesser evil and watch your run through fall apart, all because you're afraid to hurt an NPC's feelings.

So many branches in the choices :0 really enjoyed this game, I hope oneday they make a sequel
