About
Arthur's Camping Adventure (aka Arthur's Wilderness Rescue) is about Arthur and Mr. Ratburn's class taking a field trip to Mount Rockslide to explore the wilderness. It should have been all fine and dandy, but Mr. Ratburn ends up twisting his ankle on arrival at the campsite. It's now up to Arthur and his friend Buster to get some help, as you choose from three different ways of getting rescue to arrive.
By using the mouse, you navigate around the campgrounds to find items that you need, certain items will need to be collected like getting a bag of food by finding another item that can be used to retrieve it. Most of the time will be pointing and clicking for items and using some of them by taking them out of the backpack. There's even an extra challenge of photographing wildlife during the game session (this can vary, mammals one time and flowers the next).
Climb the mountain, explore nature, and learn about wildlife with Arthur and Mr. Ratburn.
Search for 40 fun natural surprises as you see nature up close.
Help Mr. Ratburn off the mountain by building 3 different rescue devices.
Keep a scrapbook of your adventure with printable mammals, birds, insects, and flowers.

This is the greatest invention mankind has made since sliced bread. I cannot recommend this phenomenal piece of media more. Calling it simply a game is an insult to the experience you will have.
Shut up D.W.! A nostalgia trip for sure but the asking price of $10 is a bit steep. It runs great and If you are looking for a blast from the past then get it on sale.
D.W. Freak tent incident with mr. ratburn is crazy.
Not much to add that hasn't already been said, but this was such a nostalgia trip. I remember getting a copy from a Wendy's all the way back in 2009, and losing it not too long after. It's great to be able to play it again after so long. Being one of the first games I've ever played, it holds a special place in my heart. For anyone curious, the only differences between the 3 initial options for help are where/how the items are found, and the short cutscene at the top of the cliff. Otherwise, they're pretty much all the same. Anyhow, a great port besides a few minor hiccups here and there. Would only recommend it on sale though due to its price.
if you, too, broke your disc of this game that you got from a wendy's happy meal in the 2000s, this is the perfect solution when on sale for 2 bucks
An hour of easy chill point and clicking with the Arthur gang. Not sure how no one died from all the environmental dangers encountered. I was able to print off my wildlife certificate and a copy of the Squishsquash story. Game play was smooth, only issue was the music audio level kept resetting to a louder state which I'd have to adjust throughout.
I grew up with 90s pc games like this one and I’m always looking for ways to play them once again with some it’s easy with others It’s hard that’s why I want to give credit to the studio and the developers for making these games more accessible again thank you
Great for young kids to get an intro to puzzle solving games
