A wonderful arcadey rally game with music that fits the vibe and an artstyle that whilst its minimal, works incredibly well. Its challenging, especially racing against the AI on the higher difficulties, but its quick, snappy, and becomes addictive rather quickly. Reversal of routes, Multiple different weather effects, and times of day spice up the courses you'll get familiar with because you keep wanting to improve your time over the last cannonball run you made down them.

Przyjemna, wciągająca i dość wymagająca gra, choć nie jest jakoś szalenie trudna, zwłaszcza gdy spędzimy z nią trochę więcej czasu. Czuć ciężar poszczególnych samochodów i różnice w ich prowadzeniu, a każda zmiana auta ma zauważalny wpływ na sposób jazdy. Tras jest naprawdę dużo, więc zawartości zdecydowanie tu nie brakuje. Progres nagradzany jest kolejnymi samochodami, a skoro już o nich mowa, miło jest brać udział w rozwoju rajdów - od końcówki lat 60. aż po późne lata 90. Do tego gra ma bardzo przyjemny, minimalistyczny styl i potrafi wciągnąć na zasadzie „jeszcze jeden OS”. Nie jest to może produkcja, która zostanie w pamięci na lata, ale daje sporo frajdy i robi dokładnie to, czego można od niej oczekiwać. Radzę tylko zainwestować w pada, chyba że lubisz masochizm - wtedy klawiatura też ujdzie.

Saw it in a yt video, I'm a casual fan of rally, played Dirt Colin McRae, and last dirt installments. This one was kinda fun, though I hate it, yet still recommend it. I'm gonna go through everything. Graphics and performance... Graphics are stylized, they look pleasant. Now performance is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awful. It's not the worst, but when you look at the level of graphics in the game, it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ garbage. Some graphical glitches are also present and the higher your graphics settings are set the less popping and other stuff you'll see. Also the devs have done a pretty bad job at highlighting some obstacles like guardrails and damn stones in Germany rally. Gameplay, cars, career, other mechanics... At first I thought I'd just forgotten how the cars handle, and after playing a little I understood that the devs made a soup of assists which you can never turn off completely, the counter steering is killing the game for me, I forced myself to finish it for the sake of the achievements. I can also mention how the surfaces/their physics are absolutely horribly done, I could never tell what it was, but the other review put it perfectly: the rain feels like you're riding on a damn ice and snow. Many times I've come across inconsistencies in roads geometry, you bump into some invisible BUMP and fly like a damn missile. The angle of the camera doesn't really allow to understand how steep the hill is, many times I'd fly higher than in Dirt on Finland stages (If you know you know). Oh, I want to strangle the one who placed hitboxes for being out of bounds: on one map you can go pretty wide on the grass as you'd expect, shave off some time, not loose speed. On other maps, at least in comparison, half your car is on the grass, you get reset. This ♥♥♥♥ is extremely frustrating when you try to 100% the rally. Let me go into the deep grass or among the trees. I'll lose the time based on how slow/quick I'm getting outta there. Or I'll crash to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ death. One more thing I don't get is why include damage system, but not add at least little bit of car tuning. I'm a complete noob who doesn't know ♥♥♥♥ about cars, but having such long 1st gear, is absolute insanity, you're so slow on any corner it's annoying and demoralizing. .............If you're a casual you'll enjoy this hence the positive rating. I'm not one, I hated my time with this game. I wanted to play some rally, not Dirt, since it's too big of a game to tackle atm, but I got a parody on rally which made me want to cleanse this aftertaste with a proper rally game. Winning rallies wasn't enough to get me invested and 100% all of the rallies on higher diff. And just so we're clear on performance, my review has my specs attached. And on me not being a casual - multiple times are in top/sub 5%.

addictive and fun

Невероятно приятная игра. Запустил - проехал пару этапов и пропал. При такой простенькой графике всё очень стильно, а глубина сцены местами просто кайф - едешь и вокруг просторы (местная очень необычная камера усиливает эффект). Физика приятная, не суперсим, но и не всё так просто. Автопарк весьма приличный. Из минусов - рандомные ралли в карьере - тебе может выпадать душная Германия раз за разом; её прекрасные 90градусники, тюки с сеном на проезжей части и бетонные оградки вдоль дорог будут снится тебе каждый день). Ну и ачивка на 1000 этапов - ну нафиг). В остальном - отличнейшая игра за свои деньги.
