Armello is a grim fairy-tale board game come to life, with every match combining deep, tactical card play, rich tabletop strategy and RPG elements. Leverage subterfuge, spells and careful strategy to wrangle control of the game's chaotic odds as you quest for the throne.

The game is super fun with Friends, not so much vs Bots. In my experience the bots team up on you and know where you are even if you're stealthed. Game is still really fun with Friends but, and I may be wrong, I believe the Devs aren't going to update this game anymore, pretty sure they've moved on to other projects. Unsure if it's correct but if it is it really sucks because I do really like this game, and sucks that another game I enjoy is being abandoned, but it is what it is.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

One of the GOAT's in the board game video game space. base game is Absolutely worth every penny. DLC you can probably wait for a sale :)
Best Boardgame mechanics that made for videogames. Animations and sound designs are fantastic. The whole game feel professional and fun. The luck is a really big factor so prepare for bad luck rage on the worst time possible... :D
One of the best digital board games I've ever played. The setting feels so original, and the replayability, especially if you are grinding the achievements, is really great!
I'd originally given this game a negative review. Having given it another shot, I'd now give the game a very narrow positive review, with 4 caveats: 1) Only ever play on single-player mode. The game is extremely luck-dependent, where almost everything is decided by dice rolls, card draws, random loot rewards/punishments, etc. You will likely rage-quit often, and so it's best to do that versus AI instead of human players. Also, the game tries to sell you this idea of earning gear by playing lots of online matches, but this game was never popular enough to attract a large player-base, so you'll probably never find other players online when you want to do multiplayer anyway. 2) The luck can really snowball fast. My advice is, if you don't start the game with a good opening hand of cards, or if your first quest is placed upon a Peril, just restart the game. A bad start can often spiral into a terrible game, while a good start can often snowball into a great one. Lots of games try to balance luck with skill; this game favors luck WAY too much, but a good start will at least put future odds in your favor. 3) Play on a device that lets you accelerate the AI's turns. For some reason, on my old PC, there was no option for me to skip the AI players' combat animations. So, every turn took FOREVER. I'd spend 30sec on my own turn, and then have to wait like 3min for the AI turns to finish. For some reason, on my new PC, there was an option to skip that process. When AI combat is just presented on-screen as a quick summary of win/loss damage, instead of a long and tedious battle animation, the game moves much faster. 4) Buy the game and the DLC during a sale. There are only 8 characters in the base game, and they get stale fast. The DLC characters add enough variety to make the game fun to play long-term, but they probably should have been included in the base game. It's like 3/4 of the game is held hostage behind DLC. If you follow these instructions, you can have an enjoyable experience with quick 30-40min games that have some really interesting interactions.
