Arma Reforger is the latest installment in the legendary Arma franchise, offering a versatile, creative, and fully-moddable platform that redefines the mil-sim genre.

Team up with friends in Combat Ops to engage in special operations, or ramp up the adrenaline with the fast-paced, tactical gameplay of Capture & Hold. For the lone wolves out there, the new single-player campaign Operation Omega features 5 replayable missions, and the additional scenarios Elimination and Air Support offer hours of intense and immersive gameplay.

From the distinct crack of an M16 to the rumble of a BTR-70, every element of Arma Reforger is designed for authenticity. The war expands with the addition of Kolguyev, the iconic island first introduced in Arma: Cold War Assault. Navigate through the desolate ruins of former mining operations, infiltrate secret military installations, and immerse yourself in Kolguyev's unique atmosphere in the brand-new single-player campaign set in 1989.

Instantly download and install thousands of community-made mods from the in-game Workshop. With an endless variety of time periods and genres, Arma Reforger mods open up a vast universe of weapons, vehicles, assets, terrains, game mechanics, and even completely new game modes to customize your experience to suit your preferred play style.

This game runs like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. You'll likely crash every 30 minutes max. However, this is the best casual milsim out there quite honestly. If you get this, I highly recommend you play on Battlegroup Athens Halo server. Good community and decent mod selection. It changes pretty frequently so you get a taste of other mods too. Echos of Hell is good too. That one is a Vietnam server. Both are PvE.
УРА СВО 2!!!!!
I bought Reforger back in early 2024, but I only had time to play now (when this review is posted), because initially the game barely had any content and was buggy. I have over 800 hours in Arma 3, and at least another 800 in Arma and Arma 2; I usually play single-player missions or campaigns. For that play style, Reforger is a complete non-starter. The good Beautiful visuals, decent performance on high settings on a relatively old gaming laptop and the game seems stable (for the little I ended up playing). I read that there are frequent crashes and network issues, but I haven't experienced any of that. The very core part of the game works well from a functional standpoint; I had a little fun with crawling around and shooting enemies. The bad Unfortunately, there are many issues that make the game a chore and not fun. The UI is just awful - text cannot be scaled, the controls are less customizable than in Arma 3 (a number of bindings have been eliminated / combined), the music just sucks (what happened to the fantastic score that Arma 3 had?) and the SP mission selection is effectively non-existent. I tried Combat Ops: Everon; the island is beautiful, but as a mission, it's absurdly bad. I'm on the island full of an enemy army, without any intel, with no markings on the map and far away from any objective and no ability to save the game. I always liked the hardcore aspect of Arma games and tried to play it realistically, but it's still a game and I don't have hours and hours of free time to restart a mission because I look left when I should've looked right. This may be a fun multiplayer mission when all players have a dedicated 2-3 hour block of free time to play through the whole thing, but it's a non-starter for SP players. I also tried the campaign, crawling around on Kolgujev. I had to stop playing after about 30 minutes to make food for my kid and exited to the menu. When I tried resuming the mission, it started over. (And of course, there's no save option in the campaign either.) This is completely unacceptable. I bought the game to support BI-s efforts to make Arma 4, but it doesn't even seem to be on the horizon yet. Reforger may be a good game in multiplayer (not based on the reviews), but for single-player, this is a total failure. I'm williing to update my review if some significant improvements are made to this game, but I cannot recommend it in its current form. I'm sad to say this, but as it is, it's more of a rip-off.
Absolutely peak :cinema: Pro tip if you struggle to play with friends hosting your own server is pretty easy to setup, add your friends to your tailscale if you cant port forward
