For the lone wolves out there, the new single-player campaign Operation Omega features 5 replayable missions, and the additional scenarios Elimination and Air Support offer hours of intense and immersive gameplay.

From the distinct crack of an M16 to the rumble of a BTR-70, every element of Arma Reforger is designed for authenticity. The war expands with the addition of Kolguyev, the iconic island first introduced in Arma: Cold War Assault. Navigate through the desolate ruins of former mining operations, infiltrate secret military installations, and immerse yourself in Kolguyev's unique atmosphere in the brand-new single-player campaign set in 1989.

Instantly download and install thousands of community-made mods from the in-game Workshop. With an endless variety of time periods and genres, Arma Reforger mods open up a vast universe of weapons, vehicles, assets, terrains, game mechanics, and even completely new game modes to customize your experience to suit your preferred play style.

The workshop is so hilariously terrible that it deserves a negative review. If you don't believe me, you can look at it yourself online. I'll be honest, the cold war era sort of falls flat to me so I try to mod the game to be more modern. Oh my god. The workshop design is SO laughably bad that it's almost satirical, like BI wanted to create the worst interface humanly possible, similar to that Reddit challenge where users created the worst volume sliders. The whole thing just sucks. 99.9% of the addons are WIP or busted or just junk spam BS. Mostly just compilations of other mods. Want some new weapon addons? You're either going to have to download RHS or the other very first addons that have way too many subscribers since they're some of the first that appeared during the games launch, which artificially inflate "popularity", OR you are going to have to sort by New and find the one addon per 5 pages that's actually new content. OR you can search for some very oddly specific gun in hopes it's been made (it hasn't) and hope it isn't just some Brazilian server compilation mod. Not to mention, spawning them ingame is such a mess and I don't feel like getting into that can of worms. And the same can be said for just about any category of mods. It's just so, so bad. Why they decided to ditch the Steam workshop is beyond me. Are there literally any other alternatives here? It straight up makes me not want to play the game because I don't have the patience to work with this workshop.
Don't Bother Buying Arma Reforger In It's Current State! Arma Reforger is dissapoment for me - and I lost hope for Arma 4 to be somehow better then the rest. I got this game gifted by a friend for my birth day, had it a while in my whistlist, over 1,000h on Arma III. All the cinematics on this page, footage, etc. looks nice and all, but when i launched the game i already run in to issues: 1. Nickname First of all if you have a longer steam name or special characters (maybe becuase you just like estethics) you're done for, you'll need to edit your name, otherwise it will be cut, fascinating that games like Foxhole or other games on Steam (and outside) have no issue with longer names or speical characters at times. Some games simply hide the speical characters in your nickname, but what is more annoying is the stupidly short character limit for name, or not being able (having the option) to set custom one. There is an option to log in to your Bohemia Interactive (BI) account, i thought "Great, i'd have to change my steam name as it's cut, but i can use my BI name which should fit well!". Nope, all what logging in to your BI account does it.. You are logged in to your BI account. 2. Closing the game If you alt tab and just lick on the "X" to close the game, the game will have a stroke, freeze, lag/slow down your computer, and after about a minute shut down. Obviosuly other games may do the same if closed this way as well, and i can confirm that closing it by the in-game "exit" works smoothly, the difference is while closing other games they don't cause nowhere near as much issues as when closing Arma Reforget this way. 3. Performance (Specs attached below) Before launching the tutorial i went to settings to turn down the volume of the music, as every audio settings is set to 100%. while there i noticed that my graphics is set to "medium", i thought that this is basic graphic settings so i set it to Ultra as i got brand new gaming notbeook with high(er) tier specs all over. And so i launch the tutorial, and i see ~33fps... So i try all the different graphic settings, and this is what i got: - Ultra ~33fps - High ~54fps - Meidum ~75fps - Low ~93fps This is such a sh*t optimization that it makes me want to refund this game. I'm used to tweaking my games, other stuff, in to DIY and such - but a player should never have to go and search for how to optimize your game for more FPS on high tier specs devices, you had to do something fundementaly wrong. (As i write this, Arma Refoger just crashed...) 4. Game Crashing As i write this review, alt tabed, Arma Reforger just crased after few min to test again the graphic settings for accurate FPS, i saw other people in the comment mentioning this, but holy hell i didn't expect it to be this bad, some say it's weeks, maybe months like this? I don't know, and i don't know when this will be fixed. Note: I havent got to playing even yet, i have like 0.5h on the game... This is just terrible. After launching one of the screnarious, the graphics is good for sure, but again, i got (now) 60fps on low graphics with high specs device, what the hell? Did you even play your own game BI? I have like above half an hour in this game so far, could say i didn't even get to playing yet, and already running in to so many issues, mainly the optimization - others are much less important. I can only wonder how many bugs and issues this game must have if it's so far this bad. Unfortunately, i will be refunding this game.
ты только маме что я в эвероне не говори
The base game is a great foundation, but it essentially requires multiplayer for anything other than creating your own scenarios and playing by yourself against mediocre bots, and if you want to play multiplayer, 99% of the servers require mods, but getting mods doesn't work because Bohemia Interactive have for some reason decided to hijack and then completely destroy the modding system, by making mods availble exclusively on their broken in-game digital trashcan labelled "Mod Workshop". You cannot get the mods through any other means except through the game, and you can't even play single player offline while the thing is stuttering along on its way to inevitable failure (mindblowing design choice there!). Essentially, they have taken the main appeal of this game, and monopolised it to make sure that it remains a broken mess for as long as possible. Why? Who knows? But this is the only explanation, because what they're doing requires MORE effort for a WORSE system than you'd get in a Call of Duty server. Before someone offers "the solution," I've moved the addon directory in Steam, verified game files, reinstalled and restarted numerous times, tried various VPNs, changed my internet cache settings, tried different Wi-Fi networks and routers, and there is absolutely no change. "Error 0: Unknown" just pops up and stops your download, whether from a server or the workshop, and retrying doesn't do anything. If you retry, it simply deletes half of what it downloaded, spins for literally half an hour "processing" 300mbs like it's tying to decipher the Voynich manuscript, before just crashing again, now with even LESS progress. Absolutely useless and broken, there is no other term, and this has apparantly been an issue for years, but instead of doing literally anything to fix it, Bohemia clearly do not give a single flying f**k. So if they do decide to one day actually fix what should not have been an issue even on release, let alone 3 years down the road, maybe I'll update this to a positive review within the following 3 years to keep up with their rapid response.

With medium to low settings the game runs at best at 58 fps, often dropping to 30 and sometimes even lower, long lagspikes at 5-15 fps.. not what i expected from a game thats been running for so long.
Os morteiros desse game me fizeram voltar a estudar trigonometria. 10/10, recomendo.
Great mil sim
