This game feels like its an alpha or a demo. There are way to many bugs and it feels like its missing a lot. Half the quests are bugged out and can't be completed.
ArkCraft: The Rebirth of the World, developed and published by ZD Yazilim, is an open-world survival crafting game that frames its familiar mechanics within a mythologically inspired premise about rebuilding life in the face of an impending cataclysm. Instead of presenting survival as an endless loop without direction, it anchors the experience around a clear long-term objective: constructing an ark capable of preserving life before the world is overtaken by disaster. This central goal gives the game a stronger sense of purpose than many titles in the genre, even as its moment-to-moment gameplay remains rooted in well-established systems. The core loop revolves around exploration, resource gathering, crafting, and gradual progression. Players begin with limited tools and must venture into surrounding environments to collect materials necessary for survival and expansion. Different regions offer distinct resources and challenges, encouraging movement across the map rather than staying confined to a single area. This creates a steady rhythm of discovery, where each new biome introduces opportunities to improve equipment and unlock additional crafting options. While the mechanics themselves are straightforward, they are implemented in a way that supports continuous forward momentum. Crafting and progression systems form the backbone of the experience, with a wide range of tools, structures, and upgrades available as players advance. The inclusion of skill trees and technology unlocks allows for some degree of specialization, giving players the ability to shape their playstyle based on their priorities. Whether focusing on efficiency, combat readiness, or construction, these systems provide a sense of growth that keeps the experience engaging over time. The gradual expansion from basic survival to more complex systems is handled in a way that feels natural, reinforcing the idea of building something larger piece by piece. One of the more distinctive elements of the game is its emphasis on building the ark itself. This is not just a background objective but a central mechanic that ties together exploration, crafting, and progression. As players gather resources and unlock new capabilities, they contribute directly to the construction of a structure that serves as both a gameplay goal and a narrative symbol. This adds a layer of meaning to the otherwise routine tasks of gathering and crafting, as each action feeds into a larger purpose beyond immediate survival. The world design supports this structure by presenting an environment that feels active and occasionally unpredictable. Wildlife interacts with the player in ways that can either aid or hinder progress, and certain actions can trigger unexpected consequences, such as attracting more dangerous creatures. This adds a layer of tension to exploration, ensuring that even routine activities carry a degree of risk. Combined with environmental challenges and resource scarcity, it reinforces the game’s survival theme without overwhelming the player. Visually, ArkCraft opts for a stylized presentation that prioritizes readability and accessibility over realism. The environments are varied enough to maintain interest, and the visual clarity makes it easy to identify resources and navigate the world. While it does not aim for high-end graphical fidelity, the overall aesthetic is cohesive and functional, supporting the gameplay effectively. The audio design complements this with ambient sounds and understated music that enhance the atmosphere without becoming a focal point. However, the game’s reliance on established genre conventions is difficult to ignore. Many of its systems—resource gathering, crafting loops, and progression structures—will feel very familiar to players who have spent time with other survival titles. While the ark-building concept provides a thematic twist, it does not fundamentally alter the core gameplay loop, which can lead to a sense of repetition over extended play sessions. Once players settle into an efficient routine, the experience can begin to feel predictable, with limited incentives to experiment beyond optimizing existing strategies. Pacing is another area where the game shows some inconsistency. Early progression is engaging, with frequent unlocks and a clear sense of advancement, but later stages can slow down as resource requirements increase. This can make certain stretches feel more like a grind than a meaningful challenge, particularly for players who prefer a faster pace or more varied gameplay. The lack of significant mechanical evolution in later stages further contributes to this issue, as the experience relies more on scaling existing systems than introducing new ones. Despite these limitations, ArkCraft: The Rebirth of the World succeeds in delivering a cohesive and approachable survival experience. Its strength lies in how it ties together familiar mechanics with a clear overarching goal, giving players a reason to invest in the world and its progression. While it may not push the genre forward in terms of innovation, it offers a solid and often satisfying loop that will appeal to fans of open-world crafting and exploration. In the end, the game stands as a competent and focused entry in the survival genre, one that balances ambition with accessibility. It may not surprise players with new ideas, but it provides a consistent and engaging experience built around steady progression and a meaningful end goal. For those who enjoy methodical gameplay and the process of building something over time, it offers a rewarding journey, even if it occasionally leans too heavily on familiar design. Rating: 7/10
Needs more work! Doesn't appear the Dev is working on any updates to improve the game. Has potential to be a good game if improved!
Requesting a refund. 1. Black screen issue when starting the game (found a workaround in the forum at least) 2. FPS drops even though my system's up to specs 3. Poorly tutorialized 4. Janky af controls (I mean, I knew that going in but boy, this is bad) 5. Hard to read interface
dont get it who ever made this has very good potential think of a goodd idea then make a good game this one =not good
Great game had a lot of fun thanks dev :)
