This is a game i would consider abandonware, The dev hasn't been online in a year, but it wasn't a scam, it was probably for some other reason. They are only one person after all and you can't expect them to do everything. This game is heavily outclassed by it's older 2D game, because that one is at least a little more finished than this one. Both are okay games, but generally i would more recommend the original over this one. It's just more polished. I was a part of the beta testing team for this game, i know surprising, and we haven't gotten anything there since 2019. I'll probably play this one for the achievements because they all seem trivial enough, and then i'll go back to the regular one.

i read alot of the negative comments. I had to say something. my two biggest compaints is the amount of time you spend in fast forward just to spawn a few eggs a and the clunky camera movement. most the game is spent in fast mode, kinda lame just waiting for eggs to hatch constantly. I am sure once you have a bigger nest and have ants hatched on a rotation it would be smoother. Also, someone said something about only being able to rotate with the arrow keys. 100% wrong and if you played the tutorial you would know you rotate with the right mouse button and also rotating the screen does NOT unselect currently selected ants. in the end its a really cool ant game where you can dig a 3D and nest any way you want. really cool and i hope more goes into it. My final thoughts, finish the tutorial before you complain about the controls and game. One more thing that would be an easy add is label at the bottom of each ant type where it shows how many ants of what kind you have. also when selecting a single ant if you could at a name tag somewhere showing the ant type without having to zoom in to see what ant you have. not a big deal but will make things easier when you are in a hurry to grab a certain ant for a task. little things like that. One last thing.. could you please add a undo on your dig option? sometimes i accidentally dig in the wrong spot. should be a way to fill the holes back in. can this be a thing please?

I am not finished with all the sandboxing missions.. But in one you fight against 10 tarantulas instead of 10 beetles. Fun ;) ►The timer will allways run in seconds, no matter how fast the gamespeed is. ►Games gets slowed down by the very slow egglaying of the queen. ►Food usually comes from hunting, but often there is no pray. In sandboxing the timer for each mission won't stop before all time run out, so to grow the colony you have to choose the missions wich have a good food / time / casualties ratio. :S ►saving games takes a lot of time I love it anyway. My colony has about 20k space, ~300 ants. I am still trying to figure out how to grow enough fungi. :) It is a slow, relaxing game, made with an eye for details.
