I was playing and when I spent a lot of time everything went away and now I have to start all over again

Do not purchase. I would love to play this game as I'm into ants and there are scant few games in this space. Sadly it is completely unplayable for me. The UI is horrid. I cannot make it through the tutorials. Essential UI elements are off screen, I know this because there is a big green arrow which I can see, pointing to something I cannot see. Explanation on what you should be doing is somewhere between slim and none, and it is not intuitive at all. There are no options for changing/resizing the video so there is unfortunately nothing I can do about it (I'm on a 3440*1440 21:9 monitor). I can barely see what is going on, moving the camera happens at light speed making it a minigame of sorts just to tap the keys lightly enough to get the camera where you can actually see what is going on, if the plants don't get your way, and ofc no options to alter scroll speed. I also tried to jump into the freeplay mode to see if maybe the UI problems were limited to the tutorial, but the issues persist. Can barely see anything. It is terribly claustrophobic. My experience of this game is absolutely nothing like the screen shots shown here on the store page. This reminds me of a bad student game project. I know that is an extremely harsh criticism, I do not say it lightly. Far from being incomplete or unfinished this game is just poorly made, at least when It comes to dealing with a 21:9 monitor. Perhaps it works great in 4:3? I do not know. With literally hundreds of games on my account, this game has the dubious distinction of being the first one ever that I will request a refund on.

It was fun. Until devs just stopped updating because someone made a video promoting the game. It'd be awesome to get a refund now...
