Another Perspective

Jogo com uma temática simplista, mas com questionamentos interessante, pra dizer o minimo. Plataforma com Puzzle que já vimos muitas vezes, mas tem seu charme próprio, a história básica do jogo, tem uma dificuldade crescente porém nada muito complexo, acertaram bem nessa "medida". O mystery mode, que seria a "continuação" passa a ser MUITO mais desafiado, apresentando uma mecânica nova/diferenciada para o jogo. Resumindo, é um bom jogo, para quem tem prática com esse tipo de jogo, algumas horas de entretenimento e auto-reflexão. Fico triste, apenas, pela dificuldade de platinar esse jogo pela conquista de terminar em menos de 12 minutos, tirando isso, um jogo que vale o seu preço. 9/10 Apenas por ter sentido a necessidade de mais tempo de jogo, para falar um pouco mais da "história" e por birra com a conquista de 12min, pois eu REALMENTE, queria platinar o jogo, mas não vou me esforçar TANTO assim por ele. Recomendo a todos que tem o suficiente para comprar, experienciar esse game.

Very relaxing puzzler. While being a simple visual design the gameplay was very enjoyable and thought provoking.

An sich ist es definitiv kein extrem schlechtes Spiel, dennoch kann ich hierfür einfach keine Empfehlung aussprechen, weil es da draußen einfach unzählige, so viel bessere Puzzle-Platformer gibt. Das Spiel versucht recht philosophische Fragen aufzuwerfen, jedoch kratzt es hierbei letztendlich nur an der Oberfläche. Das hätten sich die Entwickler auch sparen können, da "Another Perspective" einfach nicht das leisten kann, was es sein will. Wie hier manch Anderer schon geschrieben hat, bemerkt man vor allem recht schnell eine starke Ähnlichkeit mit Braid (...falls das gespielt wurde, wenn nicht würde ich es jedem ans Herz legen!). Jedoch ist Braid einfach in allen Belangen viel überlegener. Kurzum: Kann sicher ein netter Zeitvertreib sein, wenn man zu viel Zeit hat, jedoch kann man die dann auch ganz einfach in bessere Puzzle-Platformer investieren.

Another perspective is straight forward and executes on its core mechanics perfectly. This indie title sticks to its original concept and proceeds to build on the complexity of each puzzle in a steady fashion. There are bits of pacing within the gameplay that help give a breather from otherwise constantly solving more complex puzzle over and over again, which is really welcomed. It also does a good job setting up atmosphere with its chosen color palette, lighting and music. I did not find the story/text to be too compelling for me, but I'm not much for story. The graphics aren't the most impressive, but that can take a backseat since the overall mechanics are implemented so well. Some of the levels actually ended up making me a bit dizzy due to some inverting, but after getting my barrings I found it to be a really cool design. Is it worth $6? If you have the money and can support the indie dev, I say 100% do it. I picked this up with a humble bundle and ended up pleasantly surprised how well Shaun Spalding did focusing on simple mechanics and building on them.

Another Perpective is a nice puzzle platformer about swapping bodies with yourself alongside introspective digressions from a cool British indie designer, who also films coding tutorials. There's a bunch of secret achievements to uncover that I didn't find in my hour long playthrough of the base game so I may head back later for a completionist run. For a more conventional, but still philosophical, take on the general theme, I highly recommend The Swapper.

This game is so freaking fun!! It really makes you think and the "dialogue" is quite philosophical. One thing I really love is the creativity in the secrets and the achievements. They gave me a legit challenge!

Another Perspective is a clever little puzzle platformer that borrows the aesthetic of Braid while carving out its own identity through its body-swapping mechanic — switching between copies of yourself to use them as platforms is a genuinely satisfying concept that keeps the puzzles feeling fresh. The difficulty ramps up nicely without ever becoming hair-pullingly frustrating, and the introspective narrative text, while occasionally veering into shallow philosophy, adds a layer of charm that grew on me as I progressed. It's short — expect around an hour or two for the main story — but the Mystery mode offers additional challenge and a more complete ending for those who want more. If you enjoy puzzle platformers and can grab this at a fair price, it's well worth the experience.
