jogo divestido, não gostei tanto da segunda parte mas me acostumei com o tempo
Another Crab's Treasure firmly establishes its own identity in the Soulslike(Shellslike) Genre as a fantastic action adventure game. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with this all the way through! The bosses and enemies you fight throughout the game are uniquely designed and weld weapons comprised of trash and plastic from the ocean floor. The messaging of overconsumption and capitalism were inserted and constant throughout the adventure with conversations happening with all sorts of ocean creatures making the world feel really grounded. The voice acting was done well and I didn't feel like any of the dialogue felt overbearing or uninspired. If you're new to the Soulslike genre there's plenty of accessibility tools to utilize to make many parts of your gaming experience easier. Something that I think this genre needs more of. Going forward this will be the game I recommend for those who are looking to get into Soulslikes for the first time. I've already bought this game for a few friends who both have experience and have expressed wanting to get into the genre but were too intimidated to do so. Looking forward to your next game.
ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDED!
I was gonna wait until I finished the game before writing a review but nah, I couldn't hold it in anymore. This game is way too much fun. Playing it honestly feels like you're inside a cartoon, and I mean that in the best way possible The world of Another Crab's Treasure is ridiculously charming and hilarious. Everywhere you go, you'll run into all kinds of sea creatures, some are your friends, some definitely aren't. A lot of the locations are built from trash that humans dumped into the ocean, turning everyday objects into underwater landmarks. It's weirdly familiar and absolutely hilarious The beginning was fun, but New Carcinia is where the game really came alive for me. That place had me laughing nonstop. Seeing the old guy walking around with a floss pick as his cane was already comedy gold, and then he drops "Oh my Fish" instead of "Oh my God." I actually lost it. 😂 On top of that, the town is packed with goofy little interactions, like four crabs standing on a rooftop seriously planning a robbery. Or a QR code you can actually scan, BUT I'm not spoiling what it leads to. Stuff like that gives the game so much personality Since this is a soulslike, you'll definitely notice plenty of nods to the classics. One thing that cracked me up was finding an area called The Sands Between. Sound familiar? Yep, it's basically the another version of The Lands Between from Elden Ring, lol Even though it's a soulslike, don't let that scare you away. I'd genuinely recommend this game to anyone, even if you've never touched the genre before. The game comes with an awesome Assist Mode that lets you customize the difficulty however you want. Best of all, using it doesn't disable achievements, so you can tweak the experience to fit your playstyle without missing out on 100% completion. I seriously wish more games did this I'm not gonna spend this review breaking down every gameplay mechanic because, honestly, I just had an incredible time with Another Crab's Treasure. Huge thanks to the devs for creating this THIS IS HANDS DOWN THE FUNNIEST SOULSLIKE I'VE EVER PLAYED. FR!
