Isometric card battler RPG with a touch of virtual creatures, set in a futuristic, digital world, with over-the-top villains and a very shadowy plot.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 24 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Anode Heart: Layer Null is a side-game spinoff to the monster tamer game of Anode Heart. This game focuses on the vastly expanded card game combat, deckbuilding and becoming the No. 1 card master on the Server.

You play as Blank, a new player in the Duel Server, an in-between Layer of the Systems where everything is decided by Card Games. As you rise through the Server Ranks, you will start encountering the Shadowed, members of a mysterious organization with an unknown, but most probably evil goal.
[ ! ] There are reoccurring characters and references to the first Anode Heart installment, but it's not necessary to know them in order to enjoy this game.

Game features:
* Unique card battling system
* Local (and direct connection) PvP
* 500+ cards to collect and play with
* 12 unique levels and card bosses
* New story and characters
* Tama monster DNA collection
* an Isometric Gameboy/PSX vibe
Card game minigame from Anode Heart is now expanded into its own game, with 10 new booster packs, re-balanced card sets and refurbished rules and mechanics. There are card bosses and Tama you can fight through the card game, and a tournament ranking style system.

This is the second game in the Anode Heart universe, serving as a bridge to the Sequel that will take place on the far side of Zearth, after the ending of the first game. [Layer Null] is set in a new Layer, with focus now entirely on the card game and a new plot surrounding it. There's a new cast of characters, but you may recognize a few familiar faces and names. I've carried over the lessons I learned through the release of my first game, so whether you're new to the A:H universe or a Virtual-slaying Veteran, I hope you'll enjoy this one as well!

Remember all those yugioh rpg tcg games on old Nintendo handhelds? It’s very much like that in game structure. I am loving it and hope to see more games like this released.
Fantastic game - 100% deserves a bigger audience. Remember pokemon TCG for the gameboy color? It's like a modern take on that updated for the times. If you're the type of person who played the Witcher 3 and ended up trying to play more Gwent than the game itself, you 100% should get this game.
Using The card game to make its own game, is incredibly fun and i loved the game, i just wish there was more of it, but i highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoyed the card battles from digimon world 2003 it is awesome

Good card game with alot of different builds.
Everything about this game is superb especially for a single player card RPG... except the card art. A LOT of the card art is muddy at best. if you can overlook the occasional awful card artwork then absolutely pick this up
Great indie card game that ease you in while growing more complex over the different biomes!
Amazing game who took me back to my childhood where I played my favourite game ever: Digimon World (specially in his game: Anode Heart) & Digimon World 2003 (Layer Null is based on that one)! The creator took the best of this kind of games to make a masterpiece! I enjoyed every second of playing card games while collecting 100% cardex & all 28/28 achievements! I want to say the creator that it was really worthy your time & effort to make me (and all players) happy while playing this. Nostalgia hits me hard! Can't wait for next games! Thank you <3
