Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Anno 2070 is a bold and imaginative entry in the long-running city-building and strategy series developed by Ubisoft Blue Byte and Related Designs. Unlike its predecessors, which focused on historical settings, Anno 2070 leaps into the near future, presenting a world grappling with the consequences of environmental collapse and rising sea levels. This thematic shift allows the game to explore new mechanics, aesthetics, and strategic considerations, while still preserving the series' core strengths—meticulous resource management, economic complexity, and satisfying city-building systems. The result is a game that feels both refreshingly modern and deeply familiar, offering one of the most compelling simulations in the franchise. The world of Anno 2070 is shaped by climate change, with much of the Earth submerged beneath the ocean. As a player, you take control of an organization tasked with colonizing and exploiting remaining habitable zones, usually scattered across archipelagos. You’ll establish and grow futuristic cities, harvest and manage resources, and expand your influence through trade, diplomacy, and technology. The game offers three distinct factions—Tycoons, Ecos, and Techs—each with unique strengths, aesthetics, and challenges. Tycoons are aggressive industrialists who generate vast wealth quickly at the cost of environmental health. Ecos focus on sustainability and long-term stability, but develop more slowly. Techs, unlocked later, offer advanced scientific capabilities, particularly for underwater expansion. This faction-based system is one of Anno 2070’s most interesting innovations. It introduces ideological and logistical tradeoffs that affect how you play. Do you plow ahead with rapid industrial growth and risk ecological collapse? Or do you tread carefully, investing in green infrastructure and managing resources more conservatively? Each faction has a different architectural style, supply chain, and citizen need structure, which affects not only gameplay mechanics but also how your cities visually evolve. Combining elements from different factions often becomes necessary in late-game scenarios, as high-tier production chains require a careful mix of eco-friendly processes and high-efficiency industry. Resource management in Anno 2070 is dense and rewarding. Every production chain has dependencies—raw materials are refined into components, which are then used in factories to make goods for your population. As your citizens' needs evolve, you’ll constantly be tweaking your logistics: rerouting trade ships, balancing production ratios, and expanding your reach to acquire rare materials from distant islands or beneath the sea. The underwater colonization mechanic is a standout feature that adds a second layer of complexity to the game. Establishing deep-sea outposts to extract rare minerals while defending them from hostile factions introduces both strategic risk and visual flair. One of the game’s most compelling features is its dynamic economy. Your actions have long-term effects not just on your city, but on the game world. Pollution levels, energy consumption, and resource depletion can trigger cascading effects, influencing citizen happiness, production efficiency, and even the global market. These consequences make your decisions feel weighty and impactful. You can’t simply grow unchecked—balancing prosperity with sustainability becomes a core challenge. This environmental aspect feels particularly relevant today, adding a layer of contemporary significance that sets Anno 2070 apart from more traditional city builders. In terms of presentation, Anno 2070 impresses with clean, futuristic visuals that still hold up years after release. The cities are detailed and lively, filled with animated citizens, busy transport systems, and dynamic weather effects. Whether you’re building a sleek Eco metropolis with floating algae farms or a sprawling Tycoon industrial complex surrounded by smoke stacks and oil rigs, the game has a distinct visual identity that reinforces your playstyle choices. The sound design complements the visuals nicely, with a subtle but evocative soundtrack that adjusts to the game's tempo and cleanly delivered voice acting from your AI advisors and faction leaders. The game features several modes, including a lengthy campaign, single-player scenarios, continuous sandbox games, and online multiplayer. The campaign introduces the mechanics gradually and weaves a surprisingly engaging story around corporate rivalry and environmental conflict. While the narrative is serviceable, it mostly serves as a guided tutorial for the more open-ended modes. The real depth of Anno 2070 lies in its continuous game mode, where you can build endlessly, experiment with different strategies, and tackle emergent challenges at your own pace. Multiplayer allows you to trade, compete, or cooperate with other players, adding a human layer of unpredictability to your carefully planned economy. However, Anno 2070 isn’t without its flaws. The game launched with intrusive DRM systems and online requirements that frustrated many players at release, although most of these issues have since been resolved or mitigated through patches and community support. Even today, the reliance on Ubisoft’s proprietary services may create complications, especially for players who prefer fully offline play. Additionally, the game’s interface, while generally clear, can become overwhelming as your economy scales up. Managing a web of interconnected production chains across multiple islands and underwater zones can sometimes lead to information overload, especially for new players. Despite these shortcomings, Anno 2070 remains a standout in the city-building genre. It successfully modernizes the classic Anno formula with futuristic flair and environmentally conscious gameplay, without sacrificing the series' signature depth and polish. Its mixture of strategic planning, logistical mastery, and thoughtful world design creates an engrossing sandbox that encourages both experimentation and efficiency. The faction diversity, layered economy, and visual distinctiveness make every playthrough feel unique, and its themes of sustainability and technological progress are more relevant now than ever. For fans of simulation, strategy, or management games, Anno 2070 offers a rich and rewarding experience. It challenges you not just to build, but to think long-term—to weigh short-term gains against the broader health of your society and the planet itself. It’s a game that demands patience, foresight, and adaptability, but it rewards those qualities with one of the most immersive and thoughtfully designed strategic experiences of its era. Rating: 6/10

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 8: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Installed through steam, can’t play because of the Ubisoft Connect launcher because it is an old email and Ubisoft’s site is so user unfriendly I would rather complain so people know than play the game or try to get my money back.
Ubisoft always asking me to log in on every game, and it never signs in. It's entirely unnecessary and its stupid. I hope your company goes bankrupt
This damn online connection is killing me. It's not letting me connect and so I LOSE ALL MY PROGRESS. This is NOT an enjoyable scenario.
I'm sick and tired of having to log in and reset my password to play each and ever game...any game by Ubisoft!
I'd rather give any other game a negative review instead of this one. I absolutely love this game. But we can't consistently play it anymore in multiplayer and with server functionality, both of which are very important. The servers are sometimes down for hours or days at a time. Losing this game is like never being able to watch the Godfather again. Often we can still login during times when the player count is low, past 23:00 UTC. I suggest looking at the Steam Charts for Anno 1800 to see when that time is for you. The devs said they are working on a fix. I hope so.
For the love of God, DON'T BUY THIS GAME. I was stupid enough to buy it without checking reviews first, but the game is unplayable. The servers are always broken, I was able to play for 50 minutes before, in the next attempt to open the game, I got stuck in a "Addon detected" screen that requires rebooting, and opening the game again gives the same message over and over. I literally can't play the game, and apparently I'm not the only one. DON'T BUY THIS GAME.
