Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is one of my favorite games of all time. It's unplayable. ♥♥♥♥ Ubisoft.
it's an Anno game, I've been playing Anno since I was 8 years old (1701), played 2205, 1800 and 117 and this is my favorite. And a very large part of that is because of the atmosphere, the near future look from the early 2010 perspective. With the ability to build under water, the different factions each with their own set of buildings which changes the gameplay. For example the eco's, the way to generate electricity is by building wind turbines (early game that is) while with the other main faction (Tycoons) you start out with coal generators. And the general aim is different, a mechanic in the game is the ecobalance per island. With the Tycoons it's more about maximizing profit, with no real care about the eco balance (except for when it hinders growth or reduces efficiency. With the Eco's on the other hand their thing is about not lowering the eco balance, or even adding to it. The NPC's have 3 groups, Tycoons, Eco's and Tech's. Depending on what you build they might have an opinion on it, like building a Nuclear Reactor pisses of the Eco's (because of nuclear waste or whatever, who care's anyway (I'm playing as Tycoon)). While growing your civilization and thus generating more profit the Tycoon NPC's will give you positive feedback. There's just so much to it, I highly recommend getting the game. (also alot of reviews talk about the Ubisoft launcher being annoying, I've never had problems with it. I do have to enter my password every time I start the game after a computer restart. But I guess this could be seen as a security feature, though I'd like for it to just remember my password. It's like 5 seconds extra work so I don't mind it but more options don't hurt.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 8: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I'm not sure, it used to work for me back when I bought it, however it's now unplayable since I cant get past the main menu. constant error messages. Tried a few fixes that unfortunately didn't work, I've seen this is a common issue. I believe it may be due to Ubi shutting down games like this and the crew. Don't buy.
i.. don't like this game, its mostly due to the fact that ubisoft refuses to work 24-7 and i cant ever actually PLAY the game and i've tried almost everything, i feel like the concept is great, Ubisoft. Fix your software or whatever it is, or just make the game load even when you dont have ubisoft.
Requires an Ubisoft account to play single player, like so many very poorly chosen games tend to. I would have still been willing to play, but unfortunately the account creation process bugged out on me as my spam folder caught the email verification step. I fixed it and wanted to resent the verification code to try again but unfortunately Ubisoft does not allow you to log into your account because it wasn't verified in the first place which is what you have to do in order to resend the verification code. Worse, their support is useless as Ubisoft support absolutely refuses to recover or assist with bugged account creation processes. Save yourself the time and money and do not engage with Ubisoft games.
The game is great, love the anno franchise, but the Ubisoft launcher is terrible. Why does it keep asking me for my email address, why is it not just integrated? I wish anno was not a Ubisoft game.
♥♥♥♥ ubisoft and the game is ♥♥♥♥ compared to 1404 i recommend you pirate any ubisoft game rather than buying
The requirement for always-online through Ubisoft Connect is already bad, but to then store campaign play and career-mode data online so that you can ONLY play those online makes this an absolute no-recommend. On top off that, the servers are complete crap, isn't a factor of age and has always been that way, apparently. So it is hit or miss once time of day you can even play the game. Which is a real shame because the actual gameplay is GOOD, but it doesn't matter. invest elsewhere.
My copy of Anno 1800 on Steam opens with a single click of the 'Play' button. This game uses the exact same launcher/account but requires a password every time it's opened. Great work Ubisoft, have one more for your growing collection of negative reviews about your atrocious anti-consumer launcher. Update - this is intentional and is confirmed on Ubisoft site despite making no sense whatsoever: "To ensure a secure connection when launching some older Ubisoft titles in Ubisoft Connect PC, you may be prompted to re-enter your password"
