Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Bought this game because I enjoyed Anno 1800, but this is not even the same style of game. Fixed vertical camera angles is just lame, mission based fragmented gameplay removes 99% of any immersion, fundamentally disrupting the management sim function and focus. Not what I would recommend if you want a similar experience to Anno 1800, but with more modern (or futuristic) tech.
Simply because Ubisoft and their worthless DRM ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 8: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Anno peaked with Anno 1404 and Anno 2070 The game is great, it took almost everything Anno 1404 did and improved it in some way, as well as adding more content Sadly land battles are gone, being replaced by aircraft and anti-air defenses instead The new game mechanics like eco balance and energy are a nice addition that adds some more variables to the game to mess around with, that unlike the population in anno 1800 dont limit the gameplay enjoyment The Steam version used to have some issues but it seems to work now I would still recommend getting it on the Ubisoft store instead, that version works better in general and you have to create an Ubisoft account anyways to play this Thats also the only downside, being required to have an Ubisoft account and the game being affilitaed with Ubisoft in general 10/10, would recommend playtime is actually more like 1000h but on the Ubisoft client
DRM and having to launch this through another online store over 10 years of its original release is sad.
i used to own this game 10 years ago, now i have to register an account apparently
First game in my backlog to end up in my "Could-not-finish" catalogue. After progressing through the second mission in the second act of "The Virus" campaign, the game reached a certain stage in which it entered a "Reboot loop." I did fix the issue by copying over .rda-files from the Ubisoft Connect installed version of the game to the maindata folder, but then the game launched in offline mode and had forgotten my progression tied to my Ubosoft account. Really bummed that I can't finish the game due to always-online services. Classic Ubisoft. Do not buy.
Ubisoft is one of the most greedy, incompetent and overall worst companies of all time. You just can't compete with them in terms of being horrible. The games servers are down, even singleplayer content is now unavailable
Take that Ubisoft launcher and shove it!
As long as I've owned this game and the myriad of computers ive installed it on, I have never been able to play this game. The hours spent in this game have been trying to run it. Whenever I try to play it after install, it goes to a ubisoft launcher screen asking for UAC approval to install and flashes several times. Then I cant get past the login screen? apparently you have to always be connected to play this game
