About
Featuring:
Constant endless unit production from your shipyards. Each ship is autonomous, they seek your opponents and prioritize what they are best suited to fight. Witness vast battles. Though you cannot directly control your units in the interference of the Spance, you can create waypoint chains to direct where shipyards send your fleets.
Inspired by the gameplay of Obliterate Everything by CWWallis.
A fast-paced singleplayer campaign with over 40 missions where you fight both with and against each of the main factions. Delve the secrets of the Spance, and annihilate your opposition. Overcome the horrors of the storm and wield the might of interstellar armadas.
Annihilate The Spance is a real-time strategy game focused on a singleplayer campaign that sees you handle base building, economy, and armadas of autonomous starships. In ATS your units cannot be commanded individually, but you have many solutions to direct them towards your goals. Each ship has its own intelligent AI, and will attempt to do its best alongside its brethren in the heat of battle.
Test your ability to respond to situations as they change and shift in the chaotic tide of a 3D battlefield. ATS features an unlocked height plane, allowing starships to fly up, down, and around their enemies. Battles are multiple stories high, and can bend and shift as new vessels with unique capabilities arrive upon the battlefield. ATS has a greatly varied unit scale, ranging from tiny drones to kilometers-long capital ships that can level entire bases multiple times over.
Each ship in ATS is autonomous, targeting and attacking on its own initiative while you focus on making higher-level strategic decisions. Plan your fleet composition carefully. Calculate build cycles. Make tactical positioning decisions. There is no single ship that can win this battle. Compose a mixture of ships from across your entire selection of blueprints. Exploit your enemies' weaknesses and capitalize on your strengths to annihilate the enemy.
The Story
ATS is set in a future embroiled in conflict following the discovery of a mysterious, ultra-dense nebula-like anomaly known as the Spance. An ancient, roiling storm of matter and energy, the Spance has roamed the galaxy for eons and dragged hundreds of solar systems into its depths. Extreme and inexplicable phenomena make navigation of the Spance treacherous, but the unfathomable riches contained within offer a lucrative new frontier full of promise. However, not all is as it seems.
Four interlinked campaigns will take you through the depths of the Spance. Encounter each of the major factions as they struggle toward their goals for the Spance and its treasures, all the while gaining access to new units and technologies. Learn the unique doctrines needed to command the military might of the Kontaalen Armada, the united fleets of the Vaalkorei Coalition mercantile guilds, and the experimental technologies of Emar's Tychon Division. Delve ever deeper into the impenetrable abyss of the Spance and unlock its secrets.

While technically an autobattler, this gives me just the right RTS vibes: - Three different playable factions (when finished), plus at least two environment/alien factions. - Just firing up skirmish alone is fun. - The campaign is made well; it shows you around the different factions (not all atm. WIP) and has an engaging story. Honestly, I can't say what I want more atm. The playable third faction or the next campaign chapter. Considering the very small indie dev team, it is crazy how much work is already in this game. So many units that need balancing, and a LOT of campaign missions that need to get rebalanced every time the factions get rebalanced, and the other less obvious stuff like UX, performance, VFX, and sound.
to the people crying about the AI: the AI iis playing the game well, YOU ARE NOT! many people probably come to this game thinking they got like 30 minutes before first enemy contact when infact youd be attacked 5 minutes after start in skirmish BUT THATS OK!! THATS HOW THE GAME WORKS!!! overall a very fun game, there are several factions, eacn with a relatively expansive roster of units and buildings to build, the game itself is simple but mastering it is tricky, its kind alike BAR in space but thats what makes it great! definitely recommneded
Pretty fun, campaign is still being developed so you can finish it pretty quickly at the moment. The missions unlock more buildings as you progress so you don't feel overwhelmed. There can be a ton of units on the field and my old pc could still handle it. I look forward to the release of the campaign.
when i first got it last year it was great had a lot of fun. and would have given it two thumbs up. it was challenging but you could adjust your builds on the fly as things evolved. that no longer seems to be the case. came back to it recently and its nearly impossible to win a skirmish, once the bots reach mid map the momentum falls snowballs to their favor in a way that doesn't seem to i cant seem repel.
Game is so fundamentally flawed it hurts. The enemy, no matter how low you reduce the difficulty will blow you out of the water every single time. I play many RTS games on the hardest level (StarCraft, Supreme Commander, Rise of Nations etc) and they feel fair. This game on the easiest settings feel incredibly unfair. The AI is perfect in every single game, period. They know exactly how to beat you every time. Their build order is perfect. The resources they get feels incredibly cheaty. I will sit there and watch the enemy on the lowest settings somehow out produce ME with some of the highest economy settings possible set for myself. It's just flawed AI. It is impossible to beat them. It doesn't help the economy is garbage. Most of the time I can't even get a fleet going because economy buildings cost WAY too much to build, as well as the build area you get is super small, and the buildings you have to build to increase your build area are stupidly expensive and give only a small build radius, but naturally the AI seem to not have this problem whatsoever. The enemy shouldn't be able to send the BIGGEEST SHIPS in the ENTIRE GAME at you at the five minute mark on the EASIEST SETTINGS. Absolutely flawed AI. Also doesn't help that your buildings are made of literal paper and crumble and fold the second ANY enemy gets into firing range of your buildings. Defensive buildings are trash with super low range and fire rate. Literally pointless buildings. Also, no edge scrolling. Yuck.
Extremely good game Has nice mods too
super entretenedor uffff
