Anglerfish

First time ever I ask for a refund on Steam. The game barely works (Dualshock 4 not detected, janky gameplay) and yet asks you to do the same thing over and over again as a joke. So since it made me waste my time, at least it won't get my money. It's sad because at first I thought I was getting into something very good, with absurd or unexpected events all the time, as if I was in a David Lynch movie. But those were only the first 10 minutes, after which the game ironically became the opposite of what it set its goal to be. The only new "surprises" were a random enemy added here and there or a random death, both just frustrating rather than enjoyable when you're doing the same thing for the twentieth time. Anyway, interesting ideas but very poor execution I guess, in addition to being frustrating on purpose. When a game does that, at least there needs to be something good about it, which I didn't find here.

I would recommend this game.

i HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I JUST PLAYED BUT IT WAS WORTH IT! Don't read any reviews! Just try it and discover its wackiness for yourself. You won't regret it.

You will be hit with the unexpected. Expect that.

I was surprised at every twist that I encountered and I do appreciate the funny little details and gags sprinkled throughout the game. I would recommend it.

me and my friends go to the anglerfish bar during look a like thursday, so we all dressed up as japanese school girls while trying to get as many girl's number as we can. what happens next will shock you.

Been meaning to review this game for a long while now. I do enjoy it. It's got a unique play style, multiple endings, different media and celebrity refs, and more. I haven't been able to finish this game though due to being stuck on one of the loops, then got extremely busy and sidetracked. One of these days I'll have to go back and attempt to finish it since I've had a playthrough of this going on my Youtube channel a few years ago.
