From the creators of Amnesia: The Dark Descent and Dear Esther comes a new first-person horrorgame that will drag you to the depths of greed, power and madness. It will bury its snout into your ribs and it will eat your heart.
Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs – Plus un casse-tête qu’un cauchemar

------{Ambiance générale}------
✅ Oppressante Correcte Faible
------{Horreur}------
Présente Légère ✅ Discrète (voire absente)
------{Puzzles}------

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

a machine for peak
Never played another Amnesia, but I kinda liked A Machine for Pigs. There is far less monster interaction / hiding than I expected, but I don't mind at all that is mostly a walking simulator. The world building is great, although I cannot confidently say that Iunderstood it all, and some of the notes seem over melodramatic. A bit like what a teenage emo would come up with, if he'd been given a dictionary for ye olde English. But yeah, I liked it overall.
Good horror game, not as good as first game but enjoyable :)
Yeah, this game is pretty scuffed. Mandalore Gaming has a great video analyzing this game better than I could, or want to. I will say, if you want to play a horror game but don't want it to be too scary, then this is great. The writing really is excellent, and the story is probably the main reason to play this. Just remember, everything is pigs.

obra maestra
I understand the criticisms of the gameplay. No sanity mechanics. No inventory. No managing lantern oil and automatically recovering health rather than having to do so manually. But the story is beyond words. That ending speech is astounding. The classical horror game elements may not hit as hard as it's predecessor but A Machine For Pigs' story is so much more horrifying, in my opinion. It's the type of horror story that sticks with you.
