From the creators of Amnesia: The Dark Descent and Dear Esther comes a new first-person horrorgame that will drag you to the depths of greed, power and madness. It will bury its snout into your ribs and it will eat your heart.

Reviews

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The story was a bit confusing when it go to the sections relating somewhat to dark descent. Game play wasn't anything special but I loved the ending and how the characters were written. Don't come in with expectations, and let the game be an experience is my advice.
Amnesia: The Dark Descent is a fantastic game! It’s gripping, atmospheric, and has an original, memorable story. Some of the puzzles are… well, quite challenging, but in a good way. I wholeheartedly recommend it — I had a great time playing! 🎮✨
Boring pacing, really cool atmosphere, not scary at all once you learn your lamp when it flickers that’s when the enemy is near you, the enemy is way to graceful and you can stand in front of it and then go hide and you’ll be totally fine and it’s fairly slow, not threatening, ugly but not scary, and the puzzles are too easy, no real jumpscares, mid peice of ♥♥♥♥ for a horror game, it was too slowly paced and very predictable and you could easily avoid the enemy I didn’t die from it once this whole game like just 3/10 not scary, cool environment not scary at all tho, my little sister came in to watch me play it occasionally and she wasn’t even scared she asked me when it was gonna get scary that’s how you know a game is bad and we were in the scariest part
This is a weird one. The story, voice acting, and music are great. Maybe the best in the Amnesia series so far, but the gameplay was meh at best. I went the entire time without being chased beyond scripted events, and the scares were lackluster. Kinda just became a walking simulator. That said, I'd recommend it if it's on sale for a couple bucks or you can get a cheap key. The story is well worth it.
Not that bad.
