Worth every penny. Not a long game but it is an amazing game. I hate horror games and I completely recommend this one!
The absolute best horror experience in a long time. I’ve played a lot of horror games, but Amenti is on a whole different level. It is genuinely, deeply terrifying. The game doesn't just try to startle you with cheap jumpscares; it builds an agonizingly heavy atmosphere that makes you dread turning every single corner. Atmosphere: Pitch-black, claustrophobic, and incredibly tense. Sound Design: Absolutely phenomenal. Every tiny sound and whisper puts you on edge. Scare Factor: 10/10. It actually gets under your skin and makes your heart race. If you want a horror game that will genuinely scare you and keep you terrified from start to finish, buy this immediately. 10/10 — Play it in the dark with headphones if you dare.
Por enquanto, gostando muito. A ambientação do game é incrível.
VERY GOOD HORROR
I'm gonna give it a thumbs up because it's an indie game even though it is isn't exactly a good game. Pros: Interesting setting Good graphics Short (this is good because it doesn't get repetitive) Super cheap. The chase scene was fun! Cons: The game is basically a jumpscare walking simulator, you can predict each and every one of the jumpscares and after the 10th jumpscare, you kinda get bored of them. The photography idea is underdeveloped and feels gimmicky. You're supposed to take photos in order to move to the next room but you can take only the photos that the game allows you to. Also you can't look back at your photos. And i'm not sure how we can see the photo immediately after we take it since we use.... a film camera. Some inconsistencies: Sometimes you die and ressurect instantly, sometimes you die and get a "you're dead" screen and you have to load the last save. Sometimes you can't die because there are invisible walls that protect you from falling and dying. Sound felt underdeveloped at times. You can't hear your own steps but you can hear steps from the mummies around you? The protagonist doesn't talk or make any sounds, he only makes a (hilarious) moaning when he dies. You can throw rocks but only the rocks that the game allows you to throw and you can braeak only the doors that the game allows you to braek. The protagonist felt like a emotionless sack of bricks. Crazy things happen around him and he has ZERO reaction. Because, basically he can't talk. Or make a sound (except when he dies :-)).
