Alternativa is a story that will take you to a world much different to what you'd expect in 2045. To a world destroyed by war and revolutions, a world led by an oppressive and cruel dictatorship. Classic point&click adventure game based on the original sci-fi/cyber-punk script which is composed of a number of shorter stories that...

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 3 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

AlternativA is a dystopian sci-fi point-and-click adventure game developed by Centauri Production and published by Bohemia Interactive in 2010. Set in a bleak near-future version of Prague and Brazil, the game tells a dark story exploring themes of violence, corruption, and oppression in a world dominated by powerful corporations and an authoritarian government. Visually, AlternativA features nicely detailed prerendered backgrounds and passable 3D character models, though some animation issues exist. The interface is straightforward point-and-click with simple puzzles that are logical but sometimes require tedious backtracking. The voice acting quality is inconsistent and the music unremarkable. The dystopian setting and gritty narrative seem well-realized, even if the storytelling is marred by gaps, logic issues, and an abrupt, unresolved ending. Gameplay wise, AlternativA offers a solid but unexceptional point-and-click experience typical of its mid-budget indie origins. Reviews indicate AlternativA succeeds more as a thoughtful, if flawed, dystopian narrative than a standout gameplay experience. Fans of cerebral sci-fi and classic adventure games may find it worth a playthrough for the atmosphere and themes, but flaws like technical issues, pacing problems, and an unsatisfying conclusion hamper its overall quality. At a steep discount it may be worth a try for genre enthusiasts, but overall AlternativA falls short of being a must-play.

After I played Memento Mori 1 (2008) and 2 (2012), I noticed this Czech Studio (Centauri/Bohemia) had a mastery of their own graphic motor, was very good at pushing the cinematics angles and cutscenes and tell a compelling story with technical mastery, puzzles, and simulation elements (memento mori 2). So I decided to try this one game they produced in between (2010). I have been disappointed, the graphic motor is not as beautiful, the environment are frankly ugly for some...the voice over is more bland and they added a punitive interface that makes the character has to click everywhere and read every bit of note every where in the right order to pick the items or to enter the passwords and launch the triggers. This is really annoying and frustrating. You know what to do and where to interact but the games blocks you totally. And there is useless back and forth every minute. I really cannot believe this is the same studio that produced this game and the memento mori series as it is day and night. I do not recommend anyone playing it or maybe if you are a purist collector or the genre and wants to play everything produced in 3D and 2.5 from the 2010's. There is just too many other cyberpunk/dystopic games on the market to bother with this one.
...finding exactly the correct sequence of actions to solve puzzles...nt!
玩到最后一章的时候卡关了,难受!
broken and softs locks save every step also for te better parts the puzzle are vague and for some is to easy overall nice storyline but broken gameplay no wonder it didnt became a cllasic such as the longest journey
Seemed interesting. However, because of constant technical issues (long loading times, freezes) I stopped playing.
Alternativa is a story-driven science-fiction adventure developed by Centauri Production and published by Bohemia Interactive. Set in a grim vision of the mid-21st century, the game presents a world where social inequality, authoritarian control, and political unrest have reshaped everyday life. Rather than relying on spectacle or action-heavy sequences, Alternativa focuses on narrative depth, investigative gameplay, and the gradual unraveling of a complex conspiracy. It embraces the traditions of classic point-and-click adventures while placing players inside a detailed cyberpunk setting filled with uncertainty, corruption, and difficult choices. The game's greatest achievement is its atmosphere. The future depicted here is not a glamorous technological utopia but a decaying society struggling under the weight of oppressive institutions and unchecked power. Every location contributes to this bleak tone, from industrial districts and crowded urban centers to government-controlled facilities and neglected neighborhoods. The detailed backgrounds successfully create a sense of place, making the world feel believable despite its futuristic setting. The environmental design constantly reminds players that they are living in a society where freedom has become increasingly scarce and ordinary citizens are often powerless against larger forces. Storytelling serves as the centerpiece of the experience. The narrative explores themes such as political manipulation, corporate influence, betrayal, and the consequences of individual actions in a rigid social structure. The plot unfolds through investigations, conversations, and discoveries rather than combat or fast-paced action. Players gradually uncover secrets that reveal the deeper problems affecting the world around them. The writing aims for a mature tone, presenting morally gray situations and characters whose motivations are not always clear. This approach rewards patience, as the larger picture only becomes apparent after spending considerable time exploring the narrative's many layers. Gameplay follows familiar point-and-click conventions. Players search environments for clues, collect and combine items, solve puzzles, and engage in dialogue with numerous characters. The interface is straightforward and accessible, allowing the focus to remain on exploration and storytelling. Dialogue choices add a welcome layer of interaction, giving players some influence over conversations and certain outcomes. The inclusion of multiple difficulty settings also helps accommodate different audiences, whether they prefer a more relaxed narrative experience or a greater challenge when tackling puzzles. Another noteworthy aspect is the use of multiple perspectives throughout the story. By allowing players to experience events through different characters, the game provides a broader understanding of its world and the conflicts shaping it. This structure adds variety to the narrative and helps illustrate how people from different backgrounds are affected by the same political and social forces. Combined with cinematic sequences and a fitting soundtrack, these shifting viewpoints contribute to a stronger sense of immersion and narrative scope. Despite its strengths, Alternativa does show its age in several areas. Some puzzles rely on obscure logic that may frustrate players unfamiliar with older adventure game design. The pacing can occasionally feel slow, especially during lengthy dialogue exchanges and investigative sections that require careful attention. Character animations and technical presentation, while serviceable, lack the polish expected from more modern titles. Players seeking constant excitement or action-oriented gameplay may struggle with the game's deliberate and methodical approach. Even with these shortcomings, Alternativa remains an intriguing adventure for fans of classic point-and-click games and dystopian science fiction. Its commitment to world-building, thoughtful storytelling, and atmospheric presentation helps it stand apart from many genre counterparts. While some of its mechanics may feel dated, the strength of its narrative and the richness of its setting continue to make it a memorable experience. Those who appreciate slower-paced adventures centered on mystery, exploration, and social commentary will likely find plenty to enjoy in this overlooked cyberpunk tale. Rating: 6/10
This game sucks ass.
Played this game a while ago and just wanted so say I really liked it and think about it from time to time. A sequel would be so cool!
