About

Aloft is a feel-good, cozy survival game set in the clouds, where you can transform any island into a flying ship and explore the vast skies.
Navigate the world, discover new islands, gather resources, build your dream home, and take care of your animals, solo or as a group of up to 8 friends.
Yet within nature’s beauty, a corruption spreads. Root it out and cure the fungi threat that devours all other life. Uncover lost knowledge, brew powerful antidotes, enrich the biodiversity of the islands, and restore balance to the airborne ecosystem.

Aloft’s feel-good survival is more about rewarding positive action than punishing mistakes.
The sky provides everything you need; cook up delicious meals for buffs, gather resources to craft tools, and explore to find new technology. Soar the open sky freely and discover ancient ruins to uncover the secrets of the past.

Soar the open skies in a vast sandbox world and turn any island into your personal skyship.
Build and customize it into your personal home. With a helm, rudder, and sails constructed, you are ready to sail the winds and explore the skies. You are the captain of your adventure!

The wind is an ever-present ally in Aloft.
Install windmills and a network of cables and pulleys to automate your machines and production. Fly into strong winds to supercharge your crafting power and sailing speed, but make sure your sails can handle it.

Each island is its own living ecosystem, vulnerable to unsustainable gathering and the fungi corruption.
Find and cure islands from corruption by defeating the mushroom creatures in combat. Craft antidotes to save animals and restore islands to a state of harmony. By restoring their biodiversity, you gain access to new special resources, and make them more resistant to the corruption.

Collect seeds and animals on your travels and bring them to your home island.
Plant various crops in your garden to cook up delicious recipes, and care for the cuddliest of animals to gain rare resources. Form a true bond by meeting all their needs, and they will even protect you.

Creativity lies at the heart of Aloft, which can be enjoyed as a peaceful solo experience or with up to 7 other players.
Bring your entire island base when you join another player’s world, and create a small village of sky explorers. Use the in-game island creator to design anything you can imagine, then share it with the community to populate their worlds.
Craft the island of your dreams, challenge the corruption, restore balance, and express your creativity in the limitless skies of Aloft.
See you in the clouds!

Very important detail to remember. This is early access, game stutter at times, tone down the graphic, you aren't missing much. Very fun game, combat is not crazy so it's still a cozy game. 20 hours back into it and i can't begin to express how much i missed it after taking a small break. If you want to be a sky pirate like in treasure planet, this is your game.
I adore this game. If you like survival crafting, you'll like this one. It's not exactly breaking new ground in the genre, but everything works and the aesthetic and setting are what sell it for me. Flying to different islands and cleansing them feels so cool and very unique. There are also enough fresh ideas to set it apart from other games like it I've played, such as using sketch books to record building pieces you find or little timing mini games while crafting to make it go faster. I have to mention the optimization, though. I play on Steam Deck and even on the lowest possible graphics settings, the game runs at like 20 fps with a lot of stuttering all while chewing through my battery life. The fact that I still play the game under those conditions is a testament to how much I like it. It is still in early access at the time of this review, so hopefully these issues get addressed in the future.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Loved Raft, spent 112 hours in the game - this game is so bad I don't see how it could have possibly been made by the same company. Only spent 6 hours in it over a year ago - tried again today, rolled a new character, and instead of starting on an island I just keep falling through space over and over so wasn't even able to play again. It is games like this that give "pre-release" such a bad reputation now.
I'm not good with words to write a proper review, so I will just write what comes to mind. The most prevalent emotion I get when playing Aloft is when flying my Island around, I get the joy I felt when sailing and flying around the worlds in Wind Waker and Skyward Sword, and that is the most I have been sucked into one of these types of games in a long, long while.
Dermaßen langweilig, selten ein Spiel gehabt mit so wenig Substanz
If you are looking for a deep crafting structure or a bit of brainstorming, any kind of complexity, this is not the game. Destroyed a corruption with the first axe I crafted in the first 10 min, felt like the audience is 6th graders at most. Boring.
The game is beautiful and relaxing. I am really enjoying it. The crafting is a fresh take, the mining mechanics and so on all add a lot of interaction that make resource gathering less mindless and more fun, so from that standpoint its great! I recommend this game, but only if you can live with some performance issues. I'd say my PC is pretty strong, but even so this game barely runs at 60 FPS when you're on a bigger island (measured at mid to high graphics). I really think the game could do with a performance upgrade.
This is such an amazing game! If you've ever wanted to be Aang from Avatar, The Last Airbender, just because of being able to fly with a glider, this might just be the game for you! Create your base, explore the world, revitalize isles that were dying, fight enemies, cook nice dishes, take care of cute animals... It's an amazing game if you like a cozy game like this with a small amount of fighting! Definite recommend on my book :3
