I really just blinked and 9 hours went by ...

Aloft's visuals are just the right mix of realism and animation. The mechanics of the game may at first seem daunting but very shortly you see the logic in it all. The world is massive, free to roam, no restrictions, and beautiful. Ruins, abandoned villages or settlements add to the mystery. And the thought that went into the history and story, with the visual style, is so immersive and feels like you're Indiana Jones finding a lost civilization for the first time. My wife and I play to relax and immerse ourselves in wonder. Thank you Astrolabe!! If you like Minecraft as we did, you'll love this next level.

The game itself is incredible, they know exactly the audience they are targeting. So for that alone I would recommend the game. The issue is the performance. I've seen some people say they have good performance on mid-range PCs. But from what I've seen most people have some pretty bad initial performance even on higher end PCs. Me personally, I have a mid-range PC, my GPU utilization is around 50%, while CPU is around 22% to maxing around 40% utilization. With such low usage, I still get terrible frames with bigger structures. I have done pretty much everything I can in terms of optimizing it on my side, but it just seems like there is something that is stopping me from getting good FPS on bigger islands with lots of structures, even with such low usage.

Yes... but NOT YET. I should have waited for full release and very likely will return to it. Game looks great and plays like a nice relaxing building crafting sim, without a lot of the survival eat/drink/sleep/poop constants. Claiming an island, building your workshop area, farm, flying around its all great! But sadly right now, after the starting 2 areas, you get missions and point of interest to look for in a locked area of the map. There is an upgrade point you need to get into a windy area, the item required to collect the upgrade point is, is not added to the game. Its like playing in the splash pad outside of the waterpark you aren't allowed in yet. Just needs a bit more time to finish up.

Un jeux très chill et doux, on peut changer facilement la composition de la carte au début du jeu et il y a tellement de chose à découvrir... Un vrai plaisir

Big fan of this. Still in a early access but it's still very playable. I've only played this solo but I imagine it's only better with friends. You can pick your own island to turn into a airship and build how you like. Similar to Valheim in that regard. If you like flying, gliding and base building with a good bit of combat, this game is for you.

This is the best thing i have ever spent money on. I play it every day, i love this game.
