I got this game when it was cheap and figured why not give it a try. I'm loving it so far it's a very in depth tower defense game. The islands you go to level up and get pretty insane with massive monsters. You upgrade your home island and as you upgrade your tower it makes you stronger health and magic/stam. I haven't seen an update for a while which is a little concerning on an early access game but as is this game is really fun already. I hope it hasn't been abandoned yet.
Was a Fun game. So sad that the Company was shuttered and now this will never be out of Early Access. I installed it again to have some fun.
good attempt at what they were trying to do but bad execution
super guat
The game seems fun, but 20 minutes in, on the main island (not even in any intense fights) the FPS just drop to 24 and it would stutter pretty hard. RTX 4070 TI Super and it struggled. I was doing the mission after the tutorial to rescue your kin and it would stutter just sprinting down through the town. Next mission I am gliding over to the island to get minerals and when 6-7 "Lost" mobs appeared to fight it started to stutter again. I think it has something to do with the fire elements in the game causing it. It was good until the mobs started burning. In the beginning the town is on fire and that could be the reason for the harsh stuttering.
Game has a fun concept and was fun to mess around with while with a friend. Was excited to see what this game would become but it seems to have been abandoned and will likely never get the ending it deserved.
Sakın almayın. Bu kadar kötü bir gameplay hayatımda görmedim. Gidin robloxtaki oyunları oynayın. Onların vuruş hissiyatı bile daha iyi.
Almighty: Kill Your Gods is an action-RPG that wears its ambition proudly, aiming to fuse high-energy combat, cooperative monster hunting, and base-building progression into a single myth-charged experience. Developed by RUNWILD Entertainment and published by Versus Evil, the game casts players as an Alpha, a warrior reborn through ancient power to protect their people and challenge corrupt gods that rule from above. From the outset, the premise establishes a world defined by defiance and survival, where humanity is not merely fighting monsters but actively pushing back against divine tyranny. This thematic backbone gives weight to the gameplay loop, even when the narrative itself remains largely understated and environmentally driven rather than heavily scripted. The core gameplay revolves around venturing out from a central home island to explore dangerous outer islands filled with enemies, resources, and objectives. Combat is fast, aggressive, and visually striking, emphasizing momentum over precision. Players wield magical gauntlets and amulets that enable a wide range of attacks, from close-quarters brawling to elemental ranged assaults, encouraging experimentation with different loadouts. Movement is a crucial part of combat, with sprinting, dodging, jumping, and gliding all contributing to a sense of fluidity and verticality. At its best, fights feel frantic and empowering, especially when chaining abilities together or overwhelming enemies with raw force. However, the combat can also feel floaty at times, with hits lacking consistent impact feedback and animations occasionally appearing stiff, which slightly undermines the visceral fantasy the game aims to deliver. Progression in Almighty is closely tied to both character growth and island development. Resources gathered during expeditions are used to upgrade gear, unlock new abilities, and strengthen the home island with defensive structures and functional buildings. This base-building element adds an appealing layer of long-term investment, transforming the home island into a living reflection of player progress. Periodic assaults on the island reinforce this sense of ownership, turning preparation and strategic upgrades into meaningful decisions rather than cosmetic additions. While this system provides a satisfying loop, it can also become grind-heavy, as repeated resource runs are often necessary to unlock meaningful upgrades, particularly for solo players. Exploration plays a significant role in shaping the game’s identity. The islands themselves are fragmented and hostile, with environmental hazards, shifting conditions, and looming enemies reinforcing the idea that the world is actively resisting your presence. Weather effects and changing island states lend atmosphere and variety, even if the visual design sometimes leans toward simplicity. Lore is scattered throughout codex entries and environmental cues, hinting at a deeper mythos involving ancient wars, fallen civilizations, and the cyclical nature of power. While these elements enrich the setting for players willing to dig, storytelling remains largely passive, and those seeking strong character interactions or cinematic narrative beats may find the world emotionally distant. Cooperative play is where Almighty: Kill Your Gods truly shines. Designed with up to four players in mind, the game feels far more dynamic and balanced when tackled as a group. Coordinating abilities, reviving fallen allies, and dividing roles during intense encounters adds a tactical layer that elevates the overall experience. Large-scale fights become more readable and exciting in co-op, and the social aspect significantly reduces the feeling of repetition that can set in during extended solo sessions. Conversely, solo play can feel punishing at times, as enemy density and difficulty spikes appear tuned with multiplayer in mind, making certain encounters feel disproportionately challenging without backup. As an Early Access title, the game’s rough edges are impossible to ignore. Bugs, inconsistent performance, and occasional progression hiccups can interrupt the flow of play, reminding players that the experience is still evolving. Enemy variety, while serviceable, can feel limited over long stretches, and some areas lack the environmental density needed to sustain prolonged exploration. These issues do not erase the game’s strengths, but they do demand patience and a tolerance for unfinished systems and uneven balance. Ultimately, Almighty: Kill Your Gods is a game driven more by potential and moment-to-moment excitement than by polish or narrative depth. Its strongest moments emerge during chaotic battles, cooperative triumphs, and the steady transformation of a fragile home island into a fortified stronghold. While its execution does not always fully match its bold vision, the foundation is compelling, especially for players who enjoy action-focused RPGs with cooperative emphasis and progression-heavy systems. For those willing to embrace its imperfections, Almighty offers a mythic power fantasy that feels raw, energetic, and full of room to grow. Rating: 6/10
Abandoned game. It could've been pretty cool. Too bad.
