Almighty: Kill Your Gods

It's fun! Buggy at times, I was really looking forward to seeing updates, but alas. Looks like its been abandoned. Last I played, the home defense segment was completely bugged and just didn't work.

Picked this game up on a friend's recommendation during a 75% off sale, but still can't recommend it myself, given the major issue I ran into. TL;DR, the game has a major memory leak to GPU VRAM (on a 2070 Super, not sure if this happens with other cards) The game starts at about 40% utilization, but gets to 100% within 15 minutes. Changing the game's graphics settings, texture resolution in particular, temporarily reset the GPU usage, but that wasn't permanent. Couldn't get the game to run well even updating my graphics drivers.

I'm so glad i found this game and i cannot believe i didn't find it sooner. I have had such a fun time so far playing Almighty that i didn't even know what the time was when i was playing. Its only down side from what i can see it the game has been abandoned by its developers ????? not sure why. I would recommend to get this game when its on sale as you wont regret it. My only complaint is their are frame drops in a certain view point of the maps but apart from that its great.

straight up js bad imo, 3/10.

This game is so dead I can hear the gods of the world abandoning it. IF you still choose to buy it then just go ahead and file for a refund before you regret wasting your money on it like I did. It honestly needs to be pulled from the store since support is gone. I'll of course edit this review if they ever come back but I doubt it

Ok, this game is definitely not finished. Get it on discount and it's a deal. Buy it at full price and you could still easily get 25 hours of fun out of it. The speed of movement is great, right out the gate you run like Chester chasing after his cheetos, then, the way you completely manhandle the basic enemies, well, just feels satisfying. Bosses and Mini-bosses are huge and you get to carry around their body parts after you annihilate them, then go home and build your house out of their parts... (well really loot that comes out of their parts). I have no idea why the dev's would have walked away from this one because even in it's current state it's already really playable and a lot of fun.

This developed fine. A very cool kinda extrction fantasy brawler/shooter with cool, big enemies.

It's one of the closest games you'll find like EDF, not saying it IS exactly like EDF, or that it's 'as fun', but that it's one of the few actually fully modeled, 3D third person open space fully traversable shooters, It is fun, it has base-building, etc It can be fun, but a terrible un-optimized release marred it's popularity, I haven't played enough to say for sure it's 'amazing', but for what I played it's good, and look forward to having a lot more fun after I get past the early tutorial missions Get this game if you're sick of the 2D low-effort cash-grabs on steam
